    Geezus...

All of this commotion and this is the reply you offer?

    EDIT: sorry didnt see this...
What's viable is not how much space something takes up, its how happy the customer is to use YOUR business again in the future. That's what i though good business operation was, making sure you get repeat custom, rather than maximum profits in one hit... but then, what would i know...

I for one, and probably for many more, am sooooooooo glad I didnt get in on this group buy. It seems that every single step of the way has been covered in bullshit, delays and now skimping on bubble wrap and boxes....

I feel for you OP. You have waited so long for this bar, and when it finally comes, its cooked. Look, UAS are a big business. Im sure they will rectify this situation. You cant blame TOLL, and i HOPE UAS dont try to, we all know where the problem occurred, they have a pretty good reputation that is starting to leak through fine cracks.
Lets hope for everyones sake these cracks get filled and fixed.

I'm actually really missing the days of Street to Strip.

I wouldnt exactly say 20 or so was too many for a large business to be able to ensure they were sufficiently packed

And yes you were only made aware of this on monday.. 15minutes after i recieved the bar ;)

I just hope this can be resolved swiftly so no harm will be done to UAS image as a result.

Since the GB was for 10,From GB thread( We need ten orders or more to go ahead, at which point UAS can put the order in with Twinz. These will be made to order and sent via container from Peru so yes there will be some waiting involved.

Freight from UAS to you will be $100 Eastern States (metro area) or $200 all other states. Freight prices are quoted in AUD.

PM me for details if you want to get in on the buy, the sooner I have ten confirmed deposits the sooner we can place the order the sooner we get the bars.) 20 as a 100% increase, may have been too much ,

Our loss as it cost us hundreds more in freight. You then appeared to over claim repairs, so happy if you don't try us on again.

    LMFAO.
The original emails i sent to you were how many months before I actually purchaced a front bar? I emailed many different companies regarding the price of their parts shipped etc And i was simply looking at how much a new bumper would cost me, I then contacted you at a later date to purchace a different style front bumper and get it delivered - providing my full address - Terribly sorry i didn't put "I DO NOT LIVE IN PERTH" specifically in my email, although it would seem common sense to check if you were running a business - although I didn't do this deliberately to cost you money.

Oh & i over-claimed on the repair job?? Did i not send you a copy from the panel beater that i went to? Maybe i should have made a thread on here and embarrassed the shit out of you since paper thin (in some areas) front bumpers are the all new weight reduction for the Z32... But tbh I cant be bothered wasting my time with you.

all im gonna say is, after alllllllllllllllllllllllllll this bullshit, please test fit these before you paint it, if they are to lazy to put it in a box then do you really think they would test fit all the bars?

keep in mind even brand new parts from nissan don't always fit 100% so saying they are from a fitted mold means jack.

Surely 'Quality Control' is the province of the manufacturer, not the end-seller?
Anyone who fits and paints a body panel without first assuring themselves that it fits satisfactorily, is not someone I would want to have work on my car.:eek:

    Hmmm

DylMo6 Same size front bar obviously, so same price as I explained at the time. From memory we had no claim with courier as the damage was found after delivery. I believe it happened in transit and quality not great and why I was willing to help you, less what was owing on the freight, which you wrote the cost on the order form. Bla bla la.

Re Scott's rear bar, we have a claim going with Toll and if not succesfull we will pay, so blamk. I feel like Tiger Air atm.

    UPDATE:-

Well as John has stated they currently have a claim going through with TOLL although not sure how successful it will be (i see TOLL just saying should have packed it better),
Meanwhile i'll be off tomorrow to get some repair quotes to give UAS, and offer up up a test fit to make sure everything is right before it gets repaired..

Hopefully wont take too long to sort out....

Thats all i have to say...the bumpers werent packaged properly and that is a fact...having a go about it with others isnt helping anybody especially NVZ32...

We should be trying to help him and get him the bumper he wanted...not argue and figure out who is at fault...as long as the issue is sorted asap that should be all thhat matters...im not saying it doesnt matter who is at fault but doing the blame game isnt helping...

I personally have never dealt with Rob but from what i have seen he has put in a lot of his time and effort to do some great deals...no matter how long it might have taken or what happened i certainely dont disregard his effort.

NVZ32 i dont know much but if there is anything i can do to help please feel free to let me know as i feel for you and hope this gets sorted out for you asap.

As for all the tit for tat argument...its not HELPING...that is all im going to say and that is my personal opinion and i sure respect everybody's opionion and hope my view is understood and respected.

    Thanks for reading...

Nor do I. This issue has nothing to do with Rob for whom I have the highest regard. I have dealt with him as buyer and seller. He really puts out in his GB's. It is just his choice of partners that have let him down this time.

It is only a personal opinion I admit, but I am completely satisfied in my own mind that if it wasn't for this thread and the opportunity it provided to put the spotlight on what happened, there would have been no offer to repair Scott's diffuser. I am satisfied with where we ended up.

This is the quote of the thread:

Reminds me of the apocryphal management course case study:

"This would be a really great business if it wasn't for the damn customers"

Totally agree...if the bumpers were packed properly in the first place the chances of them getting damaged are way different...and it wouldnt have caused so much of a hassle and time waiting for NVZ32...now because of not packing it properly it will take even more time and money to get the customer what he paid for...

if it is a business they should do right by the customer each and every time...saving costs and space on a few boxes is just an excuse in my eyes...the number of customers buying the bumpers shouldnt be an issue as they are a business that chose to go with the group buy and they should have thought about storage and packaging beforehand...if not they shouldnt have agreed to the group buy

UAS have surely send out bumpers before and should have packed it in boxes and NOT bubblewrap!!! That decsion has just caused NVZ32 to not have his bumper as it is damaged and has to wait till it all gets sorted out...

I just hope he gets the bumper he waited for so long without any more problems...
