After seeing this event advertised on Instagram, I decided it was time to branch out and start entering my Z into more local car events here in Victoria. I've registered for the upcoming Cars & Culture Melbourne show, which looks like it'll feature a great mix of vehicles, from muscle cars and JDM builds to European cars and exotic supercars.

I'm looking forward to representing the Z32 at the event, and I was...

Hey guys,

My speedometer currently only shows 90km/hr whilst driving. It'll drop back to 0km/hr when stopped but jumps back when the car starts moving again.

I think it's to do with the earth of the transmission speed sensor (its grounded to a bolt on one of the gearbox supports), mainly as my exhaust used to have a lot of holes in it which caused a bit of a carbon build up underneath the car. I got a full custom headers-back exhaust in May and the speedo stopped working about 2 weeks...

I moved to Japan from Australia and my wifes brother in law had a Z32 sitting in yard untouched and in bad shape so I asked him about it and he gave it to me.

Since then ive been working on it as the previous owner he got it from had put all this cheap plastic over the interior and also had not cleaned engine or anything..
I've been replacing the interior with stock parts to restore it.

Any feedback or advice would be great as its my first time doing this!...
