And is it just me or is everyone selling their Z around here? lol Just dont sell them to knobs like my mate did, his Z32 was fast as...

 

hahha...u make me laugh, cuz what is rwc, a 20 checkpoint inspection.......when i buy a car i do 1000 checkpoint....let alone simple stuff like lights, tyres and bushes saying its roadworthy.....if i was in doubt and spending decent money i would get a dyno tune and checked out at a mechanic.......saying that the mechanic aint going to give you any warranty that the cars going to run fine with no probs even for the next day....

also guys you need to realise that you say "im willing to pay 20 gran for a mint 300zx with perfect history etc etc", have you seen the other cars out there you can pick up for 20k......hell you can get a 2005 rex for that price with low kays if you shop around......remember YOU willing to pay 20 gran is 1 man outta a million......being zed nuts on here we all would pay higher prices for a zed we want compared to your average bloke who just wants a 300zx for a few years....

 

z32 prices wont go up for a very long time.. if they were going to go up any time soon then you'd be seeing z31 prices going up too, but they are selling for nothing these days

 

True, you see lesser cars that have been heavily modded selling for similar prices.

I've been watching the forums and ebay for a heavily modded clean Z for about a year... Haven't come across anything decent for under 15k. Looking at the long list of mods on Chads car, I'd expect he would get that as long as everything was fixed up...

I'd happliy pay 12-15k for a Z if the money had been spent... 1993 Supra's are still selling for 18-20k. Dont see why the Z isnt up there too...

u cant compare ebay to value of cars. Everyone knows you always get something ~30% less on ebay. Also depends when its listed from/till. If aucton ends at 6am, obviously snipers wont be awake!

 

Technically $660 - but yeah $250 per muffler $160 for labour. Wouldve shopped around but I was already cutting it close to the 14 day "transfer your ownership or we'll take more money" deadline. Plus the workshops trading hours suited my needs.

To tell you the truth I was scared that my first car purchase was gonna go way worse, didn't turn out too bad at the end of the day - I mean I got a Z:zlove:

I purchased a '94 2+2 NA, full respray, excellent condition with 83,000k for $12....market value is $14. fair deal i suppose. All leather interrior, targas, Completly stock Aus spec...apart from the 255x17" rears, and 235 fronts. purchased 9 months ago. Hammers with power for a manual. i have not seen one sell for 15k though ?
