last zed that sold for at least $15,000 ??????

as we all know the market for these cars is utterly shit and it doesnt look like its going to get any better....

these days you could probably get a relativly stock good condition zed for 10k and under... im talking about TT zeds here...

im curious to see if anyone knows of the last possible zed that sold for atleast $15,000. i dont care what it has it could $40,000 spent on it, id like to know when the last zed was sold for atleast the $15,000 mark....

there has been a pick of a few i have noticed for example eds na but this is in the few minority very low kms etc... even now i think he is trying to sell it, will he even get 15k now....

anyhow im curious to see what people have seen. recently i have seen clean tt zeds with 100k sev kits done, and relativly good condition go for between 6k-10k. some in not so great shape have been seen to go less than 3k even....

so wateva condition it is, whateva it may have, big turbos blah blah what zed has sold for 15,000k these days. or when was the last zed for sold atleast 15k mark...

the reason im looking into this is im in the middle of purchasing a house and its taking so much out of my time. and when i get it, it will take more time from me. in the past ive always been doing something to my car or adding something, or improving... recently i havnt really even looked at my car for monthsssss and if someone came and said id give u 15k or so id sell it. but the way the market is that doesnt look like its going to happen. and if all i got was the 9-10k mark shit id rather keep it, what else can u buy these days for that much cash a little 4door sedan 1.8ltr car lancer.

if people know of zeds that sold for the 15k or so id like to see links or something that shows it...

 

I hope you can sell your for what you want chad....one less thing to worry about when owning a house. i havent driven mine since the nationals over two months ago. she sits int he garage....starting her up this weekend...

my first zed for $15500 bout 3 years ago.

 

imported mine for around 15k in 2005...

i think the main problem is that people dont maintain them then try and sell a zed that is a overheating bucket of poo!!!!

i test drove a local zed years ago for mafi zed it had about 200ml of brown sludge in the radiator .. its was a TT but it drove slower than a NA !!

 

paid 23k for mine back in 2002, 2 seater TT manual genuine bomex aero rear wings, leather interior, oem nissan handbook. leather cases to match, e.t.c only 33,000 kms on the clock

then paid 10,500 for a 2+2TT in 2007 sun faded e.t.c pretty stock and only 80k on the clock..

 

no point crossing fingers im talking reality here and that is aint going to happen....

looks at teks car for example. that thing is like new inside/out had heaps spent on it. he'd be lucky to get 14k for it.

ye obviously that is a problem, but im talking about the good condition zeds out there. looks like the zeds just aint going to sell for the 15k anymore.

its almost 2010 and i dont think any1 is willing to buy a zed even with 300rwkw ++++ for the 15k mark. it just aint gonna happen, well from wat i see..

 

I sold my old 2 seater, manual, 1989 NON TURBO, targa top for $14,000.00 about 3 years ago.

I paid $16,500 for my car now, spent a fair amount, advertised it for $23,000.00 and got offered $20,000.00

I couldnt let it go thought because as the guy was going on about how beautiful the Z was, I fell in love with it all over again ahahaa... Now its advertised for a very firm $21,000.00

So you may get lucky and sell for more than you think

 

paid 15k for mine in 06. had a guy offer me 18 for it within a few months of owning.

with a brand new engine, new paint and 8k of genuine abflug gear on it i wouldnt sell mine for a cent less than 20.

 

not dissing the cars guys, i know these are great cars and both yours look schmickkk but reality is if the price is firm for 20k or so from now, well looks like youll be sticking with it for a very long time if thats a firm price...

Last zed that got sold for around that mark was Geoff's (ONI) to nasty girl for around the $15K mark.

 

Nope only $12K.... When I was looking I looked at a couple for $16-$17K... they were very stock as well.... not sure what they actually sold for tho

 

I paid slightly less that 15 for my new TT, resprayed black and cherry pearl, UAS bar, UAS built engine, upgraded turbos, coilovers plazmamann IC and the works. Engine bill alone was over 15K. I could justify this price, but I know the value of the work done to this car. Most other buyers would not however.

 

I got more than $15000 for mine and that was sold this year.
Its just a matter of someone wanting a good zed and willing to pay for one.
So you will sell it for $15000, its just a matter of the right person coming along.
I really do think these cars will start to go back up as a good one is harder than ever to find.

When i was looking for the t/t ,i didnt even bother looking for one under 15k,you get what you pay for

If it was manual I'd be happy to pay that price but it's auto so I would have to convert it.
$13k + $3k for conversion = $16k for a '90 zed.... too much.

I do want to buy something rebuilt though. Seen a lot of them around.
I'm sick of every zed being auto

 

i dont think that is worth it. it doesnt do anything that other zeds dont. take my car for example. firstly its probably the best or at least one of the rarest factory colours - midnight blue pearl. TT manual from factory and optioned with blue leather which is in perfect condition.

That was the perfect spec i was looking for and i was lucky to get it. the next big selling points for me was the abflug wheels which retail at 1k each and the spolier which orignally cost 1200.

Now that the paint has been done , interior restored, and is mechanically sound, it will be close to faultless. and is producing upwards of 370rwhp.

In my opinion my car is worth at the least 20k .thats what its worth to me and i think if someone was in the market for a high quality non fully sik zed then they would be only too happy to pay that money
