Others have come out getting GCT pads or what other pads some got offered and a set of std dba slotted rotors but who knows when you will be getting them.. $480 for a set of std dba slotted rotors? i dont think so the std dba rotors are around the $140 mark each not $240 a rotor the dba4000 series is around the $240 mark. just like buying name brand clothes pay so much that done last...

just checked rda slotteds on page 3 of the link you posted up 210 for rears and 235 for fronts for a pair not per side for a pair of RDA slotted
hahah well put its not worth it... Some stores will some other stores wont but going though all the crap to try and get a deal for $250 IMHO is not worth it in the end.
Hi Zanjara, I agree with most of what you say but I think they really did stuff the add up...why make it for a specific car such as a ford of holden without advertising that, especially when there are how many makes of cars out there today?? and your telling me they are only going to market to 2 types of car ...it may be the case but its still false advertising when they didnt bother to state that....Im leaning more to the fact that they just luckily found a gap such as there coincidently being no bendix premiums for the Z32. well the 2 most known car companys in australia are ford and holden. I am sure they make them for toyota etc as well but have a high demand for the every day joe just to walk in and buy the pads off the shelf for his or her's ford or holden. It also states in the ad "as seen in street commodores" so really that is no dead set give away as to what they are trying to market there.Its like the dba 4x4 rotors which are for sale. It does state for store stock only but yes they should of stated what car's they are manily for so people would understand then. Alot of pads are not made for all cars thats for sure. I know that i wouldnt skip on brakes for a zed or a skyline etc rather spend the money as if i am in need of a hard brake i know i can back it up with good rotors and pads.
Just to let you know. im happy with my deal. Im happy that i was able get rotors and brakes so cheap. im happy that i am able to replace my warped rotors. Im happy with the fact that i dont drive like a racing car driver and need anything better than stock. Im also happy that I get free pads. What am I? HAPPY!
Nice work Mark. I think i done all the talking yesterday and softened the blow (loss to S.C) prehaps :zlove: None the less i think we have made progress here. But i want to go one step further and get Bendix Ultimates Pads. Im going to go down after work and suss it all out and get back to you all on how i go. Yeah true, saw the 907 slotted pair on the first page for $400 and the standards on the second...didn't think to check the 3rd where theres like another 2 or 3 different versions and prices for pairs of slotted rotors. What's the word Im looking for....Search It shows it still pays to do your reSEARCH before just blindly going at what seems to be a too good to be true deal. Cheers! Craig
