Renee just called me and told me at the Bendigo store they have somehow refused, I think she's been in there too many times and they have somehow had time to come up with some lame excuse. Luckily we have a second store in Bendigo, so she should just be able to go in and state the NA part no.s now that shes got all the right info and they should have to honour it or face false advertising (as the other store should but it sounds like its getting heated and we don't want ememies in a small town like Bendigo (even though its got two stores )) Cheers! Craig
"Do you want me to call Consumer Affairs for false advertising??" Something along the lines of that. Cheers! Craig
Tell them it doesn't specify anywhere that it has to be floor stock and you know of other stores that have already ordered in sets for your friends....they can even ring the noted stores in earlier posts on this thread to confirm this They've already cornered themselves, you just gota make sure they don't slip out of it by dodgy excuses...hit them with the facts and they've got no leg to stand on. Cheers! Craig
Basically Bendigo Super Cheap told Renee that because they can't get Bendix Premiums for the Z32 then they can't do the deal as its "only" Slotted Rotors and Premium pads....what a crock of sh*t! Cheers! Craig
The deal is good if you think it is good.. the build quality of the dba rotors is not the best as people think they are they only have a "name" for themselves. I dont see the big rave over a deal if people were smart enough and noticed that the deal is mainly for holden and ford as the pads in which is in the deal are made for them type of cars. For others to get the deal at that price they had to say they discounted the rotors and pads to get to $250 As for the pads they are what they are called as metal king pads which are now named as heavy duty pads... Mostly taxi's use them sort of pads due to the car running for long periods of time. They are good pads do stop you but can wear out the rotors in a short period of time if you do alot of hard braking... the GCT pads are good and do the job. If you are hard on your hard on your brakes like some people are and think they are a race car driver on the roads then you will wear out your pads and rotors faster... try the pads and see how they go if you dont like them try something else... Each to there own... As for the preston store well what can you say weekend workers all week who have no idea about cars or even know what anything is without having to goto there "book" in which they get wrong anyways as they have no idea what they are looking for.
Yeah..They said I cant do the deal because they dont make Premium pads for the zed ... So I said, "alright, i'll take the next cheapest pad down the list"..and they were all like "No, cant do it HAS TO BE premium pads"..What a load of shit!
Now thay are saying that the pack only includes bendix Ultra Premium, and that these pads arnt made for 300zxtt
I dont think it is a crock of sh*t at all... The deal is for std dba slotted rotors with Bendix Premium pads. I dont know what you guys are getting so worked up about anyways *sits back relaxes with some popcorn* :zlove:
grab yourself a catalog open it to the add & ask him to show you where it states this. then show him the add for petrol caps just to right & below there it is stated show him they are in the wrong, don't let them give you the runaround. they have been contacted interally about this mistake & are in damage controll mode.
Ring the area manager and complain. the manager didnt want to talk to me at all which was why i got the deal. you might have to push a little harder.
Zanjara works for supercrap - everyone get him I used to work at wooliez and people would complain about 5cents difference and get it changed because it was false advertising... this is more than 5cents and i guess its the principle as well. Every dollar counts, they may be iron cast but it sure beats gettin them posted from somewhere and not getting free pads.
Not really, Renee. Seeing as how we have taken it upon ourselves to scrutinise the wording in the ad, I'd like to point out that the deal is for DBA rotors and Ultra Premium pads. There are no Ultra Premium pads for the Z. Hence, ideally, this offer should not apply to the Z. This is why everyone should tread carefully. Rotor + gct pad > no rotor + no pad.
Its a crock of shit because im sure any other time they would dive at the opportunity to provide a lower quality product at the same cost of the better quality part....to make the customer wear the extra cost. :bash: This would be the excuse the company has managed to come up with, everyday customer service people at Super Cheap are just doing their job (hopefully) and shouldn't wear the brunt of anyones frustrations over this deal (SC f*%kup). Renee just did the research, would normally cost you $480 just for the rotors....hence the craze! Cheers! Craig
i got rear rotors slotted for less than $200 from caz and im pretty sure you can get fronts slotted from her for less than $200 aswel (please note these are RDA not DBA), and the pads most people are getting dont sound like they would be that good for stopping power, great for my grandmother to drive to the shops with but not for my driving style, save yourselves the hassle and the money and just go to caz
Yeah thats $200 each though...just checked...this is $250 for both fronts WITH $90 pads. http://www.cazracing.com.au/catalog/index.php?cPath=32&osCsid=9b7391c549446e152fb1733b6fa30a2e For everyday drivers, this is a very good deal...if your wanting race stopping power then no, don't buy these. Cheers! Craig
