I'm pissed I went down to Gosnells SuperCheap and the asshole there wouldn't let me. He fed me some bullshit story that the deal only applies to commodores and that they can't order them in as it's below or the same as their cost price (probably true). So even though I argued and said that other owners of 300zx's have got the same deal he didn't care. He wouldn't order them in at that price. What should I do, can someone help me out.
He wouldnt honor mine at first - if anyone asks i work for the department of fair trading (which i did at one stage) They said they would do it, though i didnt get to put a deposit down because he said the computer wouldnt let him go that low with the price. I will be making sure money has exchanged hands before Friday.... I hate having to come home early from work to sort this stuff out but i will have to. He tried the street commodores on me too, but i said "mate, it says match up rotors and pads and thats what im doing" The area manager didnt want to talk to me on the phone, he just said to the guy to fix it. heheheh, i might call in tomorrow morning to make sure this happens.
don't take that crap about only being for commo's that's not what the add say's.push a litttle harder but don't be rude or overly aggresive,go above his head make him call his area manager. i have it from a good source( gf's cousion works at morayfield s/c) that they have to honor this the add dosen't state any restricions of vehicle type & if they can't supply the pads on offer they should supply something similar for your car. girl couldn't ring mine up ethier. she had to enter diffrent ( bogus) sale pirces for each item. i paid 25% deposit and signed some documentation.
i got the bendix ultimate for both cars ,, and did you know that the s15 is the same as the zed front brakes

read this when i walk in and didn't saying anything other them " i would like to order front rotors for the 300zx tt z32 ,, he said that it was meant only for the ford and Holden ,, i said that it doesn't say that here,,, after talking a bit , i said in Cort of law you will loose this case and also said to him " that consumer affairs will sweep this under the carpet , once they hear about it .. he began to take my order and nothing much was said after that... all I'm saying is that if you push a bit you will get what you want ,, i say this because they got no leg to stand on at all , that's how its advertise that's how you get it ,,,, there are no specifics at all about anything , in witch hand its in our favour... just push it and its yours ...... all up i think it was something like over 800 buck for the front ,, so 250$ ain't bad at all.............
They can order them in, my guy discounted the pads down to $50 amd while he could not discount each rotor down to $100, he could get one down to $70 and left the other at cost so I paid my deposit and left. Thinkin back I should have paid in full there and then , damn He had only had 1 other customer in on this deal, and he and the other staff simply said that "this will teach them [?] to get the catalog wrong" . I agreed that it should have had some conditions on it eg commodore/ford only or store stock only - and they pointed out that unless they put a sign on the door pointing out an error AND appologising for it they had to order and sell at that price. I would suggest that you type up what the guy at gosnells told you, go in to order again, and if he gives you the same reasons just ask him to alter/edit and sign the reasons why he would not honour the catalogue sale. may make him think again. cheers
Cusins husband is store manager at super cheap hoppers crossing, he said ANY and every store has to do this offer no matter what, only applies to slotted rotors though

Wilow 300zx they do not make the premiums for the 300zx ( i don't think ) but what they have to do is give you the next break pad lower then the premiums so this means you get the ultimate .. which is fine by me .... Wilow 300zx go to another store and try to get the deal if it gets to heavy then threaten them with legal action ,, they don't have a choice in the matter they have to sell it to you for that price.. good luck alex
That is WRONG... Ultimates are considered better than the PooperCheap Ultra Premiums and are priced as such. Therefore they will offer you GeneralCT's instead of the Ultra Premiums. If you got Ultimates youre lucky but dont expect it. I was specifically told NO when I requested Ultimates in lieu of Ultra Premiums.
OK thanks hyper 101 , sorry for the confusion people hyper 101 has come thou and corrected me :biggrin: .. the store just rang me up and wanted cancel the order because their supplier didn't have any in stock , and the " COMPANY" dba has nothing left , as she said ,,, hhmmmm i think not ,, the offer is to good to be true ,, I'm sticking to my guns and told her to look into and ring dba direct and place an order Thu them , not her supplier...
Ultimates it is I shall go down there again and hassel them, even threaten legal action. Trading hours are: For my local store at least. So this afternoon after work will have to do I better have some pleasing results or they are going to have Sh*t hit the fan. Thats my rave for the day
