    Filter

Mafi I don't have a camera, but my pod filter is the same as James's although i dont have as much room, i think it must be a bit bigger. i loosened the two ends of t-piece and twisted that towards the engine as much as possible before re-tightening then i was able to squeeze the AFM and filter in behind... Just. its really jammed up close to the cooler.

    Couple of quick ones...

Has anyone who's installed their cooler managed to squeeze the apexi power intake pod in behind the cooler without modding the piping?

Also for those who have already done their install.... What did everyone do with their reo bar? Cut and keep it in there? Or just get rid of it? Still not sure which way to go with this. Would prefer to keep it really, but any more feedback would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Justin

james the fmic in that pic has a thinner core and the mounts are closer

to the begining of the fmic, the fmic we've been supplied sits about 3cm further in than that one and theres no way in hell that same elbow joint will fit into babbbs car...

    hold up....

Hang on a tick..... you say pipes with the bends are for the top.... but in that second picture the longer flat pipe is going to the top of the cooler??

****EDIT, don't worry, thought you meant the elbow bend pipes, now understand****

    Rad Cooling.

Hey, I had a thought, with putting a fmic on behind a stock front bar (skirt or whatever its called) would the bar block alot of cooling to the fmic, also how about the radiator with the front bar already blockin alot of the ic, would it have a great effect on the radiator?

    Thanks James...

Hi James, I got my Kit today, I was excited. The FMIC is good. I thought the pipes were good, but I happen to have a roommate who is a professional welder. He laughed at the pipes and told me that they won't last long with high pressure flowing (alot of porosity/weak points). So I will try to get them fixed or something before installing them.

Thanks for your efforts James. You tried your best.

Your kidding me right?????? The pipes have been tig welded.

I'm going to pressure test the pipes and take a video for you to give your pro welder roomie.
