Yep thats right It also includes the skirt, the whole skirt and the front has a wide guard peice on it as well. So its the side skirt witch is in half and it all joins together on the car.
Some kit pic from one of my old posts in vented nose. And for those wondering you can keep you stock rear bar. Wheel spacers will be required but I can get those also. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=404289#poststop
since you'll be reproducing the whole kit.... would there be a chance/price reduction for just the rear bar and rear fenders? and take out the front bar and front half of the side skirts?
arent the 2 seater and 4 seater different styles? Im after the 2 seater version with the SINGLE supra like scoops at the front of the rear wheels... :zlove: If you duplicating the same kits ive seen, the 4 seater has DUAL type ducts in front of the rear wheel.. And unless ive missed it mate could you please clarify exactly what the kit will include? I think ive confused my self with people asking in regards to part kits and now im not exactly sure what your offering. Thanks in advance Gonzo.
Offer is Rear bar and wide rear guards. Witch has side skirt included the rear guards. 2 searter and 4 seater. $800.00 for the both. This is a very heavy disscount from what they are to buy your self from UK. And this is with postage inc. tax inc
i think you should read his offer, as it never included the front bar. i'm glad ur doing this gonzo, it's taken awhile but finally somebody has done what i've been suggesting for ages! widebody at reasonable price
I would be interested. i'd also be happy with $800. as long as the finished product is a decent quality and is nice and thick. How ever i would not be able to even consider taking part until the end of OCT. as im going over seas for a few weeks in september. Other than that i'd be happy to take part. James
The cheapest ive found this kit is about $2300 USD! But that included front bar.. A very bloody noice front bar.
Cheap alright You wont get this offer as cheap any where else. So do we wont to get this here or what. I need numbers.
Heyyas I found these pics I saved to my computer quite a while ago, I belive this is part of what we are looking at getting, minus the rear bar. Might give people a better idea of what is involved in fitting and what it actually looks like. Ben
What kind of time frame are we talking about here mate? And when are you expecting payment? I think some are apprehensive until they ogle the actual end product.. my satistfaction will suffice with a couple of questions.. *How thick is the body kit? *Does it come primed ready for painting (yes im aware that alot of body work is required to fitting this kit to make it seamless) *How long to get the kit.. (im in no hurry btw) *Dont change mine from the original Thanks for now..
Im in for this but itll have to be close to the end of the year....like a little closer like after i finish school. Im just wondering how would it be if i get the rear guards alone with the skirts and how much. Also what you guys recon if i put a veilside rearbar with this widebody kit, 0 and a slight problem i think is that i have one huge 4.5tip, it does look a little odd and would it pull through the rear bar. Finally in your other post(vented nose pannels) i was wondering were the rear tail light mould was made from, would you be able to make them and at what price. Also it seems ur pretty good at moulding things, could you mould like veilside skits or some spoilers...i know this is slight off topic. finally finally just want to know a little more about the fuel cap, is there need to buy a rounded additional cap/flap or watever. cheers
I'm still deciding on a few things to do with the body work on my zed so give me a week so i can make a final decision. Also any chance of making fiberglass peices that go over the rough bits on the doors. In the pictures with the wide kit all the rough bits seem to be covered up. I think stillen make them but i assume that stillen also charge quite a bit for them. One more thing. it seems that i am in the same boat as SKYLINER in that i have a single tip. I am hoping to get a dual exhaust but at the moment what would be the solution.
Some answers 1. They will be as thick as the original. 2. You can just buy the rear guards keeping mind you have to lenghten the side of your stock bar near wheel arch , because the bar would have to be pulled out to suit it, and when it comes out it is shorter by a few inches. 3. I can have them under coated if required, but most people would have these put on a car from a body shop. And there is alot of work to have these put onto the car, like they are screwed on and stuck on with stickaflex then smooth out with body filler. Some people mite not like this idea but if done correctly you would think the car was made like it. 4. You would need wheel spacers to push out the rear wheels to siut the new wide guards. 5. So there is a lot to think about before you buy these Im going to make my own or buy these as i am prepaired to do all this my self to my car. 6. Can you take them of the car later on, Yes you can witch would mean another re spray on the rear guards again to put them back to stock. 7. I will have the moulds done buy a fibre pro then I would be doing all the copies myself. 8. The group who help get this started are all getting disscounted and are getting the first copies.
A couple of questions. What happens about the fuel filler for the 2 seater and the aerial? Will there be fittings for number plate lights and will the hole for the number plate fit a standard plate? :zlove:
hey gonzo man if you were starting this up in jan/feb id be in for sure, i got no coin... if you start doing these copies, do you think you could copy normal kits and widebodyafy them?
Fuel filler 2 seater Fuel filler 2 seater and 4 seater are in the kit as a round one, I should be able to modify this to suit our square fuel flaps. Not to sure about the arial hole would have to find out, but this can be relocated to the wide guard from the stock guard. From the pics the number plate space is wide enough buy not as deep.
I was just looking at the rear bar and it seems that it is set up for a single exhaust tip, would we have to modify this area to suit the dual tips? :zlove:
