    Incar Vid >:D

Nice drive by Vids Ryan, now we just need Ed to grab em and add some music and cool transitions :p

Here's a little incar vid I took riding with Krausy, nothin real exciting just the nice rumble of the VG30DE...about 1:50 into the vid you can see a line of zeds snaking through the forest ....the quality aint the best as my camera doesn't hold up quite so well in the video department.

Yeah i remember it as being a Volvo, maybe a greenish brownish colour.... ish...
It went by in a flash. So It wasn't just me? I did have plenty of time to get back in?

Anyways slightly off topic but here's what my car looked like on Friday around 5pm

    Cruise

I have looked over the entire thread and pics of this cruise, not only does it show fantastic photos of the cars but looked as if the company was just as good. You are all a credit to your cars.

Gee I am damn jealous. Great cruise.

Haha, im not quite sure, as I was about 3 cars behind you, and by the time the volvo got to me it was still in the gravel. He was in there a crazy ammount of time, maybe he thought we were all gonna get in his lane, or maybe he thought he was on the wrong part of the road.

Was funny to watch though, I only overtook one person, the whole day.

Some people just made a few of those overtakings.

    BigCol That's what she said...

Yeah look on a bit of a serious note, the majority of people drove sensibly throughout the day which was a fantastic way to represent AUS300ZX.COM. However a few attendees came to me at various stages of the cruise advising me that there was a bit of silly stuff going on (ie ill advised overtaking & merging etc). There is no need for this kind of behaviour on a cruise. We need to be aware at all times that we are representing our forum, our cars, and ourselves on these outings. Behaving otherwise just gives other motorists & police a reason to more closely follow our movements and categorize us as 'hoons'. Just some thoughts for next time hey people....:zlove:

    First up.......

I've read this thread half a dozen times and I'm truly humbled by everyones kind words of thanks & appreciation

    Very humbling indeed

    Secondly.....
    BigCol.... What can I say????
It takes great trust to hand your 'baby' over to someone else, let alone place the destiny of of so many fellow Zedders in the hands of someone you've never met until the very day of the event.

    Again thank you:D

    Thirdly....
A huge Special thanks to our fantastic helicopter crew not only for the use of the helipad but for the amazing flights we enjoyed. I hope you enjoy this thread as much as we appreciated your outstanding contribution

I encourage all who attended to please send an email of thanks to our heli guys and include any pics of the photo shoot with that email to ......
    info@12ah.com
Links to this thread and the pre event thread have been emailed allready.

Lastly and by no means least.....

My fellow zedders, It was great to finally put usernames to faces and meet many of you for the first time, sadly I didnt get around to everyone but it will happen in time & I look forward to sharing other events with you all hopefull sooner than later.

My appologies for the 'gravel section' last w/end it was still sealed....... the one time INROADS actually got some work done and we.......Oh well, as Ned Kelly once said..... such is life. What he meant was "well that sucks" !

Great event Col and Kingy, this event is definately a high-light on the Vic calander, I'm very glad the weather managed to play along for most of the day. Excelent pictures bringing back some great memories, particularly Ren and Craig's, excelent work there. I do have to ask though, what is with the "tip the camera on the angle" approach? Arty shots are nice but they make for weird PC desktops...:p If I thought driving in the wet with semi-slicks was fun it is nothing compared to loose gravel, with some interesting 4 wheel drift action over the looser sections without touching the brake or throttle. While I did enjoy the driving it would have been nice to spend a little bit more time talking with people, so maybe next year we consider a longer lunch stop so members can mingle a bit more?

Sorry we had to cut the day short but as it was we were late getting back to home to meet the kids at the station, but we all lived (even if some did grumble a bit).

On a serious note I have to echo Col's comments regarding some of the overtaking that took place on the cruise. I saw a couple of absolutely stupid moves that could have easily resulted in bad accidents if other drivers hadn't taken evasive action. That just shouldn't be happening, and I hope that the members who were involved consider that for the next cruise. We haven't had a serious accident on a VIC cruise and I hope we never do, but we also don't need to give the average road users any more reason to consider us as hoons.

So who wants to organise the next event? Maybe a nice run to a country Pub for a spot of Lunch? How about a golf day with a BBQ?

i would love a golf day...havent played in ages...has anyone played at keilor park before...great course...some really long 500+ yards courses and some really short 150 yard courses...but i got to say it was a great day honestly, seeing all the cars again just reminds me how great this club is:D:zlove: ...but thanks again to kingy and col for the cruise:D:D:D

PS: that gravel part made the rear end a bit loose without any sort of acceleration...next year it will be sealed though:p...and hopefully the new road is open and clean too:D...cant wait to see a few more videos though:D

Yeah once again awesome job col & kingy, glad we waited a bit longer this year as traffic situation was MUCH better than previously:D

highlight for me had to be the look on my girlfriends face when i mentioned we were'nt stopping at lavers hill this year but instead going to port campbell... nothing like an extra hundred plus kays! (each way!)

    cheers, tim

I second this. I guess since we had a schedule to keep this year was a bit more hectic than last. Would be nice to have longer breaks to have a chat with other members.

LOL, sometimes it adds character to the shot or gives you a new perspective on the subject. A lot of the behind action shots was more luck of the draw because I couldn't see what I was shooting, just had to check afterwards and try and adjust the next shot from that :p

I think some people just disregarded the cruise code of conduct when it suited them as it was drilled in at every gathering and talked about in detail on the forum. In particular the incident that Renee and I observed on the way back to Geelong, if it hadn't been for the quick reactions of the oncoming car we would have been witness to and possibly involved in a high speed head on accident. Grow up guys and think of other people ;)

All up I think most people were well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

    Cheers!

    Craig

Haha, ouch didn't know I was that ugly.

Jimmy Dean wouldn't look good in a 300ZX I don't think... maybe thats what your trying to say?
