Re: PEOPLE! stock gaskets are way better in my opinion, last longer than that perforated metal shite mafi, there is something seriously wrong with your car.. maybe you rooted your o2 sensors when you put the dumps in.. theres no way in hell you car should be slower. when i put mine in i thought that it was slower at first. so i g-teched her.. nope, much quicker the problem i found (not really a problem) was that the turbos come on full boost way quicker and shes pulling hard by 3 grand, but not getting much quicker all the way through the revs, so it felt like she topped out.. where as the old exhaust would make more and more power as the revs went up, pulling harder and harder, she just pulls that hard from way lower now.. if you get what i mean. my turbos spool up so quick that there doesnt feel like a punch in the back anymore
the problem with Trav's car is instead off the turbo's spooling up at lower rpm,say 2500rpm after he fitted the dumps, it now spools up at 3500rpm, so the dumps arnt doing what there supposed to. Nothing wrong with the power, pulls hard.
it's laggy as fuck, top end seems better than before, a little bit. peter suggested i have a vac leak as my car is idling rough and has classic signs of a vac leak.. fine idle then rough the fine again... then rough again, when everything is at the perfect setting o2's are also new and working. my car should have got less lag and more power, instead i got alot more lag and a smidgen more power. either the dumps are just fuckin shit or theres a major vac leak.
Just checking again... Did anyone from the GB have some test pipes that they didn't need and want to sell on?
dump pipes Everyone fitted there dumps & test pipes yet,any problems hav'nt fitted mine yet till i know there going to be alright.
