    Hey Tom.........>>

Any chance of running another group buy later in the year? I want a set of Dumps but I've got about a million bills to pay over the next couple of months and don't want to spend more on the car than I have too at the moment.

How smooth are the internal welds on these? The ones i have (not tune agent as far as i know) have very average internals ie. its not smooth at all and wonder how much different it would make if they were nice and smooth

WYKKED: If there is interest, of course i'll run another group buy... however TuneAgent are making a new dump at the start of next year and only have 30 sets of these ones left... so it's get in quick or wait about a year!

lysergic: internals are as smooth as a baby's arse cheek :) i'll post picks when i take delivery of them.. hopefully tomorrow! :)

ROYSZX: i got your email but make sure you send it wednesday... i wont be accepting any payments after Thursday!

    they are redesigning them....

the rep mentioned that they will be 2.5 however they wont be available for around a year... i think 'development' was starting in december 06.

Tom, is it true that the dump pipes won't bolt directly on without the

test pipes? Will those of us who ordered just the dump pipes need to get modifications to our existing front pipes to fit them up?

Correct, the dump pipes will NOT bolt upto the standard pipes. You would need custom pipes made up between the dumps & cats, OR... you could buy the test pipes which only need shorting so that you can still run cats.

I guess it wouldn't be that difficult or expensive for an exhaust shop

to make up the custom section of pipe??

    jet: SIM300 is 100% correct

i can't tell you if it would be cheaper or more expensive to get custom pipes made up after the dumps, or just buy the test pipes and get them cut and your existing cats welded onto the tests...

if you want, send the remaining cash and you can get the tests.

i am getting dumps only because im getting a whole new exhaust in the coming month.

Can't wait for my new system....

    Hey Tom

tell me more about this X pipe, I am looking for something so I can bolt up my dumps and tests. If i can get an X pipe then at least I can use my stock rear mufflers for the time being;)

    Test pipes or not?

I'm wanting to get the Dumps and can put the money in the bank account today (as requested). I'm going to be completely rebuilding my exhaust, as it's only a single pipe straight through and I want to go back to twin pipes and outlets. As I'll be getting new cats too, I'm presuming (from what's been posted) that I shouldn't bother with the test pipes as I'll be having everything made up new anyway. Just wanted some thoughts from others...

    I would guess

that it'd be more expensive that way.. to have the same thing made up for $70 each would be a bargain IMO. The only thing to be done to the test pipes would be for them to be cut just before the flange and then have the cats welded in. You could always call an exhaust shop to be sure though.

Maybe Tom just intends to take his exhaust along a different path to factory, I think minivan was able to have his tucked up further and so less likely to bottom out.

you've hit the money there mike!

people; don't buy just the dumps and not tests because im going down the other path... it would probably be better value for money to buy the kit and get the cats welded to the tests.

I've had word from TNT and the samples will be picked up tomorrow... I'm out tomorrow night so i'll post pics, etc up on Saturday arvo.

    Cheers,

    Tom

P.S. I'll show everyones payment status status and lock the thread...

NOTE: GROUP BUY IS CLOSED!!! NO MORE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
