if you have less backpressure then you need to have ur engine tuned to take advantage of it that is only my opinion, because i think that's what i read somewhere but i can't remember where either way, a higher flowing exhaust, it must be common sense that ur going to benefit get it tuned
Tears man, No one wants to go to all that effort & expense and come out worse off. There must be an explanation!!!. Faster the air can get away from the back of the turbine the quicker the turbo comp should spool, somthings gotta bee a miss  Be interesting to see if anyone else has same symptoms when they all fit theres from the group buy.
Sweeeeeeeet... Received my dumps today. Look really nice - can't wait to rebuild my exhaust! Thanks for your efforts in putting this group buy together mate - much appreciated!
Received My Dumpies I also received my dump pipes today. They look great, now comes the part I should have done 1st....Get a damn 300 1st haha.
ADVICE... Just for all of you that have just bought a set of dumps, check your 02 sensors are working before installing. It's a perfect time to change them when you have your dumps off. Jono
akeizm jeeze your a eager beaver mate, buying dumps without having a 300, well just hope u dont become a victim of murphys law and end up gettin a 300 with dumps on already
Re: akeizm Aww well, if I do then I'll just sell em off. But it was a pretty good deal goin on here so I thought stuff it, I'll get a set.
Spot on Good advice Jono - you don't want to find out you need to test (or replace!) the O2 sensors AFTER you've put the dump pipes on...
Sure about this? These are the same size and look identical to the eBay/Megan Racing dumps and test pipes which are made in China. Good value regardless.
yes egg im sure and the group buy is done... so no point in getting out the red flag now... i think im going to buy the ebay ones just to show everyone that they are different...
No red flag. They're well made and VERY cheap... very GOOD value is my opinion. Save your money they're identical in every detail.
when will us WA boys see these? i hope i get them today so that i can install them on the weekend! any ideas tom?
fat chance of that matt they are going by TNT road and it took about 2 weeks for me to receive mine...
haha i got mine today just a few hrs ago how hard is it to install these puppies? do the original dump pipes come off easily?
go my luck as usual arrived 5 minutes after i leave to get some food from the shops and now too late to organise anything till tuesday ah well, probably a good thing cause im gonna be real drunk on my 21st this weekend mattz when u fit them lemme know how you went so that I know what to look out for when i do mine
Got the TNT card in the mail Dammit now i have to wait until tuesday, stupid public holiday (i still have to work)
ive got no cats on atm, im hoping cats will help the spool time and lower down off boost torque.. its all aliged properly, although.. i do have a wooshing comming from the exhaust..
i take it that everyone has received their dumps? please PM me if you have not received them... they are all sent via TNT so they are traceable. I'll lock this thread now... hope everyone is happy
PEOPLE! i have had word from our friends at TuneAgent that it is better to use the stock gasket between the turbo and dump... I've unlocked this thread for further comments.
