I hope you join the GB!!!! PM sent! The headers are being sold with 2 new gaskets that go between the header flange & the actual head of the motor for an extra $27.10 ea = $54.20 gst inc!
Ok guys im in! Put me for down for headers in flat black. Including gaskets. I know the HPC coating serves a purpose but I doubt I'll notice the difference?? Anyway I need money for the interior, exterior and the rest of the engine too. I'm trying to spend wisely. I will send my deposit in the next couple of days. This is probably a stupid question but after the deposit is paid, does that go towards the final price?
Almost there!! Pending deposit payments received we now have 4 buyers.........& I'm in the process of trying to 'twist' another member's arm to join the GB!!! So we almost have a green light to go on this!! :zlove: If anyone else is thinking about buying these??? & I know there are a few of you out there!! ....... Today i got the headers instaled and wow the car has changed alot the engine feels deffrent it pulls more (torque) and the sound has deepend abit i only drove the car once since the install but i will let you guys know more after i drive the car abit more as for the mechanic it took him just over 5 hours to do it and i was charged $330 , there was no problems with the install the headers fitted nicely with out any messing around WARNING any one who is getting these headers i STRONGLY recomend to get them HPC coated that stuff is great , i just came home after the install and i straight away opend up the bonnet and out of curiosity i put my fingers on the headers AND WOW i could hold my fingers there for a couple of secounds before it burnd try doing that with the stock system you will be suffering 3rd degree burns :bash: HPC HIGHLY RECOMENDED :biggrin:

Hey Charlie......I'm glad to hear you felt a real difference in the performance of your car! :zlove: .......& yes the HPC is definitely worth the extra cash if you can afford it! around the $300 mark for fitting is what Simon estimated it should cost by a mechanic who knows what's going on!.......so that price was fair! Si.......yes Charlie's headers were HPC coated inside & out for an extra $245! Exactly the same as the ones in the pics from Mitch earlier in this thread! WA300Z.......there is nothing 'wrong' with the matte black heat proof paint finish! you will still get overall performance gains!.......the HPC is just the icing on the cake!........it reduces engine bay temps as it helps prevent heat from being re-radiated from the hot exhaust tubes into the engine bay! It also serves to maintain a constant surface temp across the metal surface of the header tubes which theoretically improves air flow!........but this would only produce minimal performance gains......but if you are chasing every drop of power then it's worth it!........& the BONUS is the bling factor!!
Hi just like as zedhed sed i had hpc coat in&out as for the egr the exhaust shop blocked it off and when i get the chance to do my clutch & flywheel i will remove the whole thing also i will keep my ears open for any pinging that some people have noticed when removing the egr , i will keep you's posted :biggrin:
I do have the extra money and since it seems it is worth it I will be getting the HPC coating inside and out. I'm going to pay the deposit today plus the HPC coating price. $535 cheers. :zlove:

Quick Update! Hi all.......great news! We now have enough buyers to definitely go ahead with the GB!! I'm currently up to my neck in uni assignments until the end of next week!......but I'll get onto sorting out the order asap!! At last count we now have 6 or 7 buyers??....there have been a few join in the last week or so I'd have to check my bank records to be sure??......with another possibly still interested???......but if we can get to 10 there is a good chance I can negotiate a better price......so please be patient & we may be able to reach that number in the next week or so?? Another Update! Ok guys........finally have arranged to catch up with Simon this weekend to get this GB order sorted!! We have 6 CONFIRMED buyers.......with a possible 7th looking pretty good! If anyone else has been thinking about this??? THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO GET INVOLVED IN THE 2nd ROUND OF THIS GB!! Like I said before they are being manufactured in batches of 6 or more!!.......so I can order extra with this batch........but once this order is completed it will take another 6 buyers to make it happen again!! ........& to be honest it's getting harder & harder to find interested buyers so I doubt if I will organise a 3rd round???.......someone else may have to take over if they later decide they want these????
