Im just curious has anyone done the top speed in their Z Track or normal Road .. whats the fastest u been ..
<sigh> this thread could dissolve into a battle between conservatives and..well...non-conservatives. For the record the fastest I've pushed my previous car was to 270 odd, and I had more left but started to run out of tarmac. It was on a private airstrip on my godparents property west of Goulburn. 284rwkw 18psi.
only thing really limiting you is the gearing ratios. Only so many revs you've got in 5th til you run out. TT's have a higher top speed than NA's too due to this. I've gotten to 180 for a brief time at Sandown Raceway in the wet, dry would have been better
not that fast. About 160ish on the 1/4..... and .... somewhere else... in a land far far away. Been faster in the 180sx i had Shiiiit... been faster in the Falcon I had lol
I have been 190KMH a few times but I got a damn factory speed cut lol but I am gonna leave that in for now hehe

the factory speed limiter is part of the chip, which would measure spot on 180 km/h, your speedometer is inaccurate due to the use of imperfect items like springs etc so if the limiter is still there (ie not tuned or chipped) then your true top speed will be 180km/h, jst like all the non turboes
I disagree, not in the capability of a stock car, but finding enough straight road to quickly achieve it. It dosn't struggle, but the needle dosn't exactly fly above the 200k mark. Even with the extra HP after 250km/h the car didn't boogie along.
What you mean ? I have basicly modded everthing engine/brakes/body/interior but not suspension atm most of the suspension is stock even the wheels are stock well not for long lol but how can it be imperfec if the suspension as mostly standard and the wheels are stck ?? cheers mike

Wrong It has nothing to do with springs. its Rim, tyre sizes and different diff gears that put your speedo out. Im pretty sure the Aus spec zeds have a limiter at 260.
the speed limiter wont hold you to 180 exactly u can push past it if accelerating quickly enough.... but not for long ive seen it over the 180 in 4th
