Getting there guys lets put this one to bed and move on
Any updates as to when they will be ready zx2nv ?
The order is all in and leadtime quoted at around 2 weeks give or take which puts them at Friday 24th August.
I will probably be asking for final payments early next week so if they are early or even on time they can start to ship out as soon as they are done.
Watch this space
any further developments jason?
No not as yet mate... Its not the 24th
Seriously though I will check with JP tomorrow and try to see where we are at with it and post up the results forth with.
I spoke with PWR yesterday regarding another radiator i'm having custom made, and I asked them about these. The guy said they are still being made, but didn't give any indication about how far along they are. Hopefull they are near the end.
Ohh my look at the date its the 24th
It will be another two weeks max
Seriously dont know yet have to catch up with JP soon and post up when known
I'm in but...
...I'll have to wait until October.
Big service coming up next mnth plus getting some U beaut suspension fitted.
My top cap hose lip has a crack in it on the current radiator so it's time for an upgrade.
Sorry mate but the intro offer is closed and finalised, the order is being processed currently.
May run another one of these but summer prices will be higher due to demand, may have other options coming on board.
Spoke to JP today and we are looking at mid next week as a realistic roll out for the first orders.
Jedi 77 if you are stuck PM me and we can work something out I may be able to acquire a spare OEM TT radiator for you to loan until the rads are ready.
So now we are getting close the final payments are needed guys so once these things are ready they can be rolled out of PWR.
All paid up now
Hi Jason, I have just transferred the remainder of my money. I have now paid in full, including the $40 delivery fee.
55mm core pwr
New to this site, just did a search for radiators since mine needs replaceing
and thought the 55mm pwr core would cool alot better.
Seems just missed out on the order, but willing to pay more to get one.
Just afew questions if you dont mind,
what price and time it would take to order the 55mm to perth?
and will the 55mm core make alot more cooling differance than stock running higher boost than normal?
I will check with UAS www.nismo.com.au the supplier adn see if we can squeeze another couple in as there has been a bit of renewed interest in this as the weather heats up a bit. I will keep you posted either here or by PM
I have been running a new core 55mm twin pass in my race car ZX2NV for the last few outings before it died and the unit is great. I was running around 18 psi of boost with nitrous at race pace and my temp hit around 83 degrees on a 16 degree ambient day as the thermostat was cycling the radiator flow. I have ran thick cored radiators before in summer (koyo 53mm and AMS 57mm) and hit temps of around 92ish on 35 plus degree days at race pace so these things do work. My car is setup a little differently to a road car so results may not be as great but a definate improvement especially if you run a FMIC.
Do a search on my user name (threads started by) a heap of radiator info will come up with tests etc.
I will check with UAS and see if we can squeeze an extended order or GB2 before PWR get stupidly busy again with the spring/summer rush.
That would be great thanks, and it comes with everything u need without modding needed to be fitted also Like the other ones?
The only mods you will need to do is to modify your stock radiator clamps. These are the two brackets that hold the radiator against the radiator support panel. The upper water pipe going to the pump will requrie cutting down slightly to suit the thicker radiator and the lower hose will require cutting off along the vertical section on the drivers side of the radiator as these are twin pass radiators so the water enters and exits from the same side unlike OEM which is in one side out the other.
Will see what I can do are you ready to go for one of these if I can get you in on the current buy?
Thanks for the info, Yeah if you can get me in on the buy will get one for sure, the 55mm one that is. pm me if need can look at transfer of the money.
