For an auto you will need an external gearbox oil cooler drop caz an email at www.cazracing.com.au Cheers J
all buying of Z parts is on hold for me at the moment , until i sort out what is happening with mine, hopefully you run another GB on these or even possibly have a spare one when finished, and if that isn't bad enough, my brand new set of Defi-Link Amber gauges and controller arrived in the mail today
Hey hey hey, that's 4 potential buyers, that's so close to 5 I can smell it!! lol Jason, did you get anywhere trying to sweet talk john? This cash is burning a hole in my pocket and it's real hard not to spend it on something else Ben
Bump! really really really want one of these radiators C'mon folks! Jason any luck negotiating with John on a mixed order? thanks for your efforts thus far Ben
ZX2NV would a the tt radiator fit my n/a ? if it does then i will get that and that should make up 5 buyers let me know cheers
Not 100% but I don't think it will fit dude, but there is a NA version available also so there's no worries. There was a drama with needing 5 buyers of each type though, but jason was going to try to sort something out. See how we go I guess
Hey, Im keen on the 55mm twin pass thermo fan and shroud with pipes and all. is this still on? or did I miss it already?
Its still on maybe Who is still keen for one of these in some form TT NA etc speak now or forever hold your peice
For the NA guys out there the TT radiator fits quite easily with only slight modification. I just made an adaptor bracket for the bottom and it slotted straight in. You will have to source a TT shoud though.
See!! I went a thermofan because my stock clutch fan is stuffed. Haven't had any overheating issues yet
Nice one Chrispy got any specs of the setup we might be able to get it knocked up for those contemplating the swap from NA to TT and not wanting to buy two radiators
I used the following: 1 x PWR twin pass radiator, not sure of thickness but around 50mm 1 x 50mmX3mmX1m piece of alluminium for bottom adaptor plate and top brackets 1 x 25mmX2mmx1m piece of alluminium for top bracket 2 x M8X50mm bolts and washers 1 x cut down top radiator hose 2 x 90deg silicone elbows 1 x hose joiner (came from Pex with the rad) 1 x pack of pop-rivets various sizes You use the large piece of ally for the bottom adaptor becuase the stock NA mounts are too close together. Drill holes in the ally that match the new radiator, then holes for the bolts so they can slot into the old mounts on the car. Pop-rivet the piece of angle to the top bit of the radiator and use the offcuts of the wide ally to make brackets that attach in the stock position. That probably doesn't make much sense so here is a piccy As I said before I used a thermofan rather than the stock one as mine wasn't in very good condition. You will have to find a TT shroud, modding the NA one would be a big PITA This is the first time I have ever made something fit that wasn't designed to and it went well. I reckon anyone could do it And if you can't and live in Brissy I'll give you a hand at the next tech day I was going to do a tech write up, but I got lazy and didn't take enough pictures or measurements...
Im defnetly in im just not sure on wich one to get the tt or the n/a one chrispy has given me ideas with his radiator but im not sure if im capable to do the same thing ? :bash:
Go the NA one if you can. They are bigger than the TT one. I went TT because it came up at a very attractive price...
When will this Gb be finalized? How much longer do prospective buyers have? I would like a NA radiator, but timing is the issue, so ust testing the water at the moment.
