have a look this is how it should be

PS check your AFM.. if your revs are ding at 2k could indicate dead afm. or bad afm connection

    Is not the AFM,
The car will rev over 2000 if you give it a heap of right foot.
It can't get past 2000 rpm if you very slowly bring up the revs.

It's almost like a fuel or ignition cut.

If you hold your foot on the throttle as to normally maintain 2000rpm, the engine will just die (completely), then just before stall, it comes back to life, rises to 2000rpm and then dies again etc etc.

Can't hear any vacuum leaks under idle. I suspect a leak that serious would be an audible sucking noise.

BLT on the way from Caz.

TPS is functioning and set correctly.
No timing light to verify base timing, however, position of the CAS didn't really have any bearing on the issue, just changed the idle speed as the timing was changed as you would expect.

    Any other suggestions are welcomed.

    EDIT
    No error codes BTW

It idles smoothly, and revs out nicely, just goes nuts at 2000rpm under just enough throttle to try and hold revs steady.

All coil-packs and injector connectors are connected correctly, and each contributes, as motor idles rough when each is disconnected in turn.

    did some more work

on her today. i put new kyb adj shocks and low king springs on her. i also put the whiteline sway bar on her aswell. I also did a boost leak test on her and from what i can here. i have two leaks on either side of the motor. im thinking intake pipes in the front of the turbos, but can't get to them to see if it is or not.

i put some new fuel and fuel cleaner in the tank to see if that would work out a problem it has but it didn't. below is a little video so you can see what it's doing. you need loud volume to hear it.

when you get it up to bout 2grand of revs, it will drop back down to 1.5 grand of revs and just keeps doing it. it also blows alot of smoke. in the video you can hear it doing the revs thing at the start, and i got a shot of the tacho when it was doing it aswell.

any info on this problem would be greatly welcomed.

    cheers bonezx

    nah

its not that then.. cause it idles pretty good and the a/c doesn't stall the engine.
