Would be interested in a daughter board, tuning license, USB consult cable, and LC1 kit (no gauge). Not exactly sure what type of board I need as I have no idea what year model my ECU is from (it's not going into a 300zx, but it is a Z32 ECU)
hey mate, is the nistune an emulator like the romulator, or can the tune be stored on the board with out the need for the software to be running.
Last question mate...Does the nistune software register signals from the knock/det sensor to allow for accurate timing alteration.
FYI - EFI performance has a special on these atm... Mabe cheaper for a GB? This was posted on another forum I frequent today... These chip's are for NISSAN ECU only ranging from your early R31 skylines to your late model R34 and S15. I asked EFI about the possibility of a group buy on the NIStune and he replied: Yer mike for sure mate. We can do a deal on a group buy and tuning as well if you like. Obviously tuning would only be an option for Brisbanites tho Just another option Chrispy
I spoke to my tuner this afternoon about nistune and he is keen to get something happening to further his buisness and offer something else other than full aftermarket. The idea is to use someone who has a zed with a fresh engine (looking at you mike) to use as a guinea pig so he can get familiar with the software. He can do all the fit up or you can have it fitted elsewhere. What he is offering is very cheap dyno time to get aquainted with nistune and obviously a full tune. This may be a better option than paying the usual $180 an hour for tuning. As far as his ability in tuning goes he has a list of credentials as long as my arm and has bucket loads of nissan experience from stock to all out track cars. Send me a pm guys if any one is interested. He is located in Ipswich so this will suit someone on the west side who can afford to be without thier zed for a week or two.
I'd be in for software assuming we can get it for 160'ish or less might be down for a WO2 sensor but there are cheaper options already that work with nistune like the JAW kits link here
if this goes ahead, i can do some ecutalk usb consult cables if needed, say around $65/ea for 10, individually posted, more/less$ depending on numbers (of course those with ecutalk lcd display wont need one as this display has a usb consult cable mode)
Matt is working on the z32 knock display. I have one in my z and one in my r32 (knock display works great in that), both are running techedge O2 sensors (Also Australian made). The z i connect to laptop with newkleers lcd display, the r32 connects directly to my car pc via a usb consult cable.
Doesn't the nistune board completely replace the EEPROM? and in that case it will have all the features of the STD ECU. I also heard somewhere, it can store 2 tunes, similar to Karl's Twin Tune Select.
I'm sure there was this dude that mentioned this about a year ago? Tehe! Easily the most cost effective fuel management solution going, lots of big power Zs running this setup.
week or two is just to install the board right?? not including any tune :bash::bash::bash::bash: :sorry:
If anybody needs eprom holders, I have approximately 20 of them. I can send them to a central point if required.:zlove:
