Got a reply from Just Jap Below is the email I received from Trevor from Just Jap. I also asked if this would apply to all forum members with the dodgy plug and he said it would. He said to contact him (trevor) on (02) 9545-0532. hi mark I was not aware of this problem. my boss gave them to me and told me they fit "Nissans and Toyotas" that's it. I am very sorry for the stuff up. would you like me to give you a store credit or do you still want to keep the plug. these will be removed from the forum as soon as Steve is back from holidays... you could always try cutting the plug to make it shorter, then it might fit. just an idea. thank you VERY much for the photos... Steve on holidays i was told he had just gone out, when i rang yesterday store credit, its just all bullshit!
Demand a refund. Im in Retail and know the laws, If a product is not fit for the purpose it was sold for, you are entitled to a full refund if you dont want a credit.
Sump Plugs - Update Hi guys, First of all please accept my apologies for this issue with the sump plugs - This is an issue with products we purchased which unfortuantely, as it turned out, did not serve their purpose on Z32's. Fortunately we havent had any problems with any other models. Regarding the lack of reply on this, I have been back and forth to Japan since well before Christmas, and I had received only a small number of pm's from our customers confirming that the problem existed. I confirmed to all those that I replied too that as with our on-going policy and committment to customers, that this wasnt our customers problem and therefore we would be only too happy to issue a refund, and those affected wont be wearing any additional costs for return postage either! While I understand how frustrating this must have been for many of you, those of you that believe that we are only here to 'cash in' on Zed owners couldnt possibly have got it more wrong. We have been in this game for a long time because we care about keeping our customers happy, thus this post. Trevor responded to a few emails in my absence, however in fairness the boys in the store have been run off their feet in the lead up to Christmas, which while its not an excuse, it is just part of the reason why this hasnt been sorted out earlier. In conclusion, the majority of Aus300zx forum members who have dealt with us know that looking after our customers is our number 1 priority, end of story. If any customer buys a product that turns out faulty, or un-usable, we will always refund and make sure that our customers are not out of pocket one cent because of it! I have only found this thread today and i am very concerned that it had transpired this far, and again I can only offer my apologies for the lack of reply on my part. If any of you still have the plug, please dont hesitate to contact Tony or Darron in store, both of whom are well aware of this situation, and both of which will be only too happy to process a refund for you. Just Jap isnt going anywhere, and we look forward to bringing you more of the best deals possible, and continuing our relationship with this forum and its members. Return Cost Vincent, Thank you for the reply. There are a few ways we can do this, but if you ring Tony he will sort this all out. Thanks for the reply, Steve. Better late than never! I'll keep my plug and Araldite it into an old socket. Fitted onto whatever length of extensions needed it makes a nice little pick-up magnet. Strongest small magnet I've come across in a long time. See earlier pic here.
guys and gals ... to clarify ..... this corrective action did not just happen .. but was an outcome of a pm from me to JJ, yesterday, querying why there had been no corrective action on this forum thread and the issues raised .. then followed an exchange of PMs and this final resolution ... in the end, all ok ..!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
