On an off-note, after hearing this I'm now feeling pretty optimistic about my car's performance by hearing the figures of yours. practically identical mods. Just a few days short of getting a dyno tune and finding out for myself what my Zed puts down on paper, and what i can do to it to help it make the most of its assets, but I'd be stoked if it turns out my ride is putting down ~300rwhp. Considering the new 370 comes with 330-odd hp, and only weighs a *little* less than mine, i reckon that's pretty damn cool. Not that this is a giant d*** waving contest, it's all about how much fun you get out of the car at the day, and i absolutely love the smile it puts on my face. Before i bought it, i never thought a car could do that.. but anyhoo :zlove: On a not-so-off-note, I found myself a HID kit online at a site called Delonix; it comes with a pair of wedge LEDs bonus, which were sort of the only reason i bought the entire kit really (besides the fact that the current 20 year old globes are looking a bit sad...). Thing is, what real benefit is there in fog light ducts? I mean, there's the aesthetics, but any real performance increase? I guess more airflow into the radiator/IC's will never hurt, but is it worth the price of a couple of extra holes and the loss of parkers and foggies?
Positives: Looks great! Minuscule amount of extra air flow Removes some ugliness from the front end negatives: Lose useless foglights that you dont use in qld /lose parkers that you can relocate to the side. this is why. Let me know how you go on the dyno, quite interested Matt.
Headlight & indicators/fogs/parkers Pulled out my passenger side headlight this afternoon. It had a wobbly light socket for some reason that has been annoying me since i put the HIDs in. Turnes out it was the little metal clamp that had been bent out of shape and not pressing it down firm enough. We also shook the headlight and heard some rattles. Look what fell out of the light....... Yea 3 OLD vitamic C tablets wtf!?! Should i wife that? Drilled some holes so i can fit my indicators without fouling the huge SMIC's. Also some smaller ones for the parkers. Ill put the front bar back on tomorrow but not after i vinyl the middle bar Got a few things in the mail still and ill be pretty close to a comfortable restored state. Matt.
The yellow circle tabs soak up moisture to stop the headlights forming condensation and on the inside, and stop the lenses from going cloudy smart smart Nissan
Why affix them? There does come a time when they will just stop absorbing moisture. Probably loose so you can replace them when needed.
Vinyl'd the front section of the front bar. Smoked indicators arrived from Dave @ GZA. Got me some Silver bulbs for the indicators. Shaved the nibs off the stock plugs. So they can fit these non j-spec holes. Blacked out my aus specs indicators/parkers while my foglight ducts are being made Parkers have been relocated to the side of the j-spec indicators. Ill get proper pics tomorrow of it all on. Looks very stealthy now though Matt.

Leather seats and lid. Had my leather seats from the GB done today as well as the console lid. Got it done by a man named Willem who lives on the GC. He does amazing work and a great price too! I told him about all the problematic areas and he did an unbelievable job at fixing them. The bolsters are more padded out to fill the void. Havnt put on the leather boots for the handbrake and shifter yet so that will tie it up nicely. Ill have the other interior parts done over the next month and it should be pretty well finished by late october.
My new inverter came today with the independent dimmer switch. I hooked it all up and turned on the dash... nothing happened and i was so shattered. I switched the back wires around hoping it was a pos/neg issue. Turned it on again and NOTHING.....then i turned the dimmer switch all the way to the other side and BINGO! Great thing about the EL panel is theres no hotspots New HID kit (ballasts yet to be placed) Fitted these 2 up as well.
Been while since iv updated. Iv ordered some JECS 750cc injectors which should be here within the next few weeks. Also took this shot yesterday. Matt.
