Also no offence to Zx's as they are my favourite car, but its not like the stock TT's are rediculously fast, GTRs beat them at that but arent as pretty. My Zed is for looks and an awesome drive and my future r32 gtr will be for speed
GTR's beat Z's in the 1/4 mile yes. But do you know the GTR's get blown away by Z's from a rolling start (or on the highway) ? They dont call the Z and Supra the highway kings for nothing.
I call bullshit! put franz in a TT and in an NA and i reckon the TT will win easily. Again just need someone who knows how to drive
yeah i was completely taking the piss, its something n/a drivers used to say alot on the forums years ago, but not so much now.
Hmm i suppose my view is biased cause the gtr's ive driven have been modified to some extent compared to the pretty much stock TT's. But im still not to sure about being "blown away". Personally the gtr's ive driven wouldn't be blown away by the zx's.
I miss my NA.... My Stock TT was faster than my 150rwkw NA, and now with a few more mods the TT is even quicker. The NA lacked that "pushed into your seat" feel that the TT has. But having said, I miss my NA and I would take her back in a heart beat. Not to replace the TT (never!), but as a 2nd zed. Might not have the power of the TT but damn it was a great car to drive. Cheers
This is my unbiased view, i like most jap cars GTR's, ZX's, Supra's and STi's. My mate owned a 320awkw GTR, it was fast upto 3rd gear and then it would run out of puff. Like i said ZX's and Supra's are known as the highway kings not the GTR so that explains the whole story. But on the track a GTR would usually beat a Z. And LOL about the twisty thing.. ahah that brings back a few memories of the more "fruitfull" members we had back in those days.
thats right. im on a racevideo forum and they say that Zx's own the highways. Theres more to it than jsut power, its torque, broad power band, aerodynamics, gear spacing etc. it all comes into play at high speed
Nobody's "gonna hate...", just letting you know the facts, an NA does not have more "bottom end power", unless you're talking at like 1000 rpm, in which case it won't help you much. It also needs the short diff since it makes more power. Regardless though, it will NOT beat a TT to 60, no chance. -Kirill
I don't dislike N/A's at all I would love to have the money and space to have tt and n/a. But to say that a n/a is going to take a tt in any area is a bit silly. Yes if the tt is shagged and has 80psi compression flogged out bushes shocks on safety boost and the guy driving it is dead. Then sure you will win easy in your n/a. They are great cars. NO doubting that at all. But you should never bring a knife to a gun fight
