Don't buy another thing directly from Nissan. Go through Caz.

    Cost $600.

:nono::stupid: You should have asked dude, you could have got them flown over from the u/s for less than half the price.

dont know why you went with the npower/tune agent dumps, they add 2rwkw! and thats on stock turbos.
the waste gate split is too short and the i.d of the pipes is too small, should have gone for some nice locally made 3" divorced pipes.

you're right there mate, the ebay dumps are tiny, highly unsuitable for such a large turbine wheel, i have them but only till i get something custom made

Thanks, but I wanted something better than OEM mounts, as I've broken them before. I have found the ones on UAS website, thanks 7angrypenquins, and will be using those. Nice price, about $160 for the pair should be stronger than stock, and still use urethane type material to isolate engine vibration.

wasnt everyone saying that the urathane falls apart and or melts ?

yeah urethane cant deal with temperatures like rubber can, but this is talk for an engine mount thread

Yea that’s what I thought. We use small percent of polyurethane as a softener on our body kits. It soften the fiberglass so it won't break as easy.
The rubber mount on the OEM Nissan once is hard as rock. I didn't think the softer rubber mount would work better.

Very keen to see what number you pull with these turbos.

You stated how much everything else costs so how much for the turbo upgrade?

I see you will be testing your 320hp versions with this car , will you be testing the other versions you offer as well ?
    The 280 & 300hp version ?
I'd be more interested in seeing what the 300hp version can do , as I'd like quicker spool up in a street car .
Whats you guestimate on the other versions ?
    Cheers :zlove:

well I will post what parts I've got to work with those turbos at what ever power and price I paid. So who ever thinking of doing the same would have a part and price guide.

I think I will be only testing the 320HP profile turbos for now. the 300HP profiles would be slightly responsive.

Had a very busy week, shop's piled up with dead RB and 1J turbos for high flow. I Didn't had too much time working on the Z. Any way, to save some resources I've recycled my old T25's housings, machined it to suit the new core I made last week.

Engine's still out. I've found a melted knock sensor and lot of corroded plugs. I will be looking for new plugs this week.

Nissan has quoted me $400 for a brand new knock sensor. I'm wondering if any one had tired this Ebay sensor:

If it has a melted knock sensor, thats a good sign the engine has been very, very hot. I would compression test it before you spend any money on it.

True. The car drives occasionally weired, I have taken the car to Nissan for check ups. They said engine is very healthy but had a Knock sensor error . They can't get to it unless engine comes out so I've left it to fix on this project.
