how much have you spent on zed since you own it?

    in this 2 months ownership, i spent:

    $27 for wheel studs ( i kill 3 studs....)
    $60 for rear strut bar
    $25 for hazrd light unit (again, i kill it....)
    $95 for airfilter
    $180 for 2 sets HID (3000k and 6000K)
    $170 for number plate

    very little money:p

    next will be big
    100k service is coming......

    how about you?

    lol how about ZXTCY posts what she has spent on her car since her ownership. i actually dont think anyone would beat her for how much they have spent in relation to how long they have owned it lol... and to know heaps more is to come :eek:

    I hate these threads. Last time I looked I had spent 30K plus the new gear box, clutch, flywheel, HID's, SARDS,

    So I guess I am up to 35K now. :eek:

    which i think is pretty good considering the whole car was rebuild from the ground up. its like a brand new car....but sexy looking :D

    TuneAgent R-Spec Rear adjustable camber arms-$180
    MegaZ Brake Master Cylinder Brace-$25
    Reconditioned Clutch Master Cylinder-$150
    Bridgestone Adrenaline RE001 235/45 r17 front and 255/40/r17 rear-$1250
    4300k HID low beams-$135
    Fix Leather-$350
    Random other things-$400
    and to be done very soon:
    recondition steering rack-$450
    new front control arm bushes-$80


    total~$6300 in one and a half years excluding normal runnign costs like petrol, insurance, rego and oil changes :(:zlove: which is alot when your a poor uni student :(:(:(

    at least $40K. which I think is still great value to own a supercar.

    That is some dedication to the Zed... I'd have jumped ship for a Cayman S, M3, or Audi RS4 long ago with that sort of coin.

    I find it hard to believe you've spent that much.. on the posted figures its $110k... have they even spent that on the big high HP cars over east?

    parts aren't cheap but not that expensive...

    its very possible he has spent that much seeing as how fate spent over 80k on his, and it wasnt anywhere near as hp thirsty as zisluv's will be......you have to take into account the amount spent over the years, not just the once project cost

    That all depends on how many times you have to have it redone because you didn't do it yourself ;)

    I reckon that JP or Cra-Z-boy will win this one.

    thats a point.. taking it a shop is 10x more then doing it yourself... 6k for my little project atm but would be doubled if i took it some where to do it

    about 15k on engine swap gearbox swap repairs after crash and now a manual conversion :p the joys?
