Unedited ones are nicer to look at. These are just art pics as opposed to pics of a zed. In saying that, the second last one is nice.

So I see your friends discovered hdr... he needs to wind it back a bit, its a bit cartoony now. Photos 2 & 3 could be really nice if he just goes easier on the effects.

How are finding the front lip driving around? I love the look but worried how much it will scrape.

I'm not a huge fan of HDR myself but I also know a lot of people who love it. He said he is going to give me the .raw images on a disk, so when/if that happens I'll be keen to tweak them.

As for the lip, so far so good. I am still very cautious when driving. I have seen a few pics of Z's with the same lip shattered/snapped & it does worry me.

Yeah personally I like hdr but it's all about how you use it, the majority of photos I chuck up are hdr's (not the working on cars ones obviously).

Those rolling shots are heaps better than his over processed ones, looking forward to see what you can do once you have the originals!

 

Big update.

Sadly the EP Racing engine has been sold (including other accessories). That said, I am super happy it was bought by someone local so I will get to see what it can do.

For those wondering why I sold the engine, basically in the last three years I have become a father of two. My youngest is 2 months old and my partner has taken time off work so there is only a single income. 6 months ago I bought a bigger house to fit us in which came with a nice big mortgage. So with budget restraints & having hardly any free time it was never going to be completed.

The aim now is to continue getting the car in the best condition I can a little bit at a time. Would also like to install my EBC and wind the boost up a little as it is currently running stock 9psi. Other than that just enjoy it and drive it.

I would like to do a monster build again, but will wait and see what the future holds.

 

Probably one of the most responsible things ive ever heard on this forum. Good call moving to a larger house, goodness knows personal space is hard to come by with kids amd congrats on the new one too!

 

That's not hard considering the forum.....

At least you get to enjoy a sick zed Jono. Looking forward to the little updates you will post.

 

Just think about it this way, one day you can get another Zed and will be you and your son/daughters project car to work on together. Then you can hoon together!

Thanks guys. Though it was never my intention to sell the motor, it has worked out for the best for all concerned. Just need to help the new owner find a suitable shop to do the work.
