thanks gary and tracy for hosting a great tech day, thanks myredzed and kzed for your help one me and my dads(blackzedder) car. found the problems which have caused alot of head scratching.

I think your "Blue & Red Syndrome" has rubbed off on me.........

had a run in with a not so happy copper yesterday. (maybe he's not getting any at home) anyway tried to tell me i was speeding - Don't you love it when they have no proof. Booked me for tint being to dark, the muffler in the centre of my car not clearing his nice rolling stick and exessive noise. What a joke - the joys of unhappy coppers.

Unfortunately it's true Rob.......

Mr plod was not a happy little camper. i took off from the corner of the esplanade and turned onto main beach parade gave it a little (Not Speeding), then from nowhere mr plod jumps out into the road infront of me to pull me over - jammed the brakes on and pulled over for him. he tried telling me i was speeding and i insisted i was not, he had no radar - no proof, so i wasn't about to buckle to his pressure. He then decided he couldn't get me for that so went over my car.

1. Tint too dark
2. resonator plus rear exhaust does not meet road clearance levels
3. Fined me for the clearance $75
4. Fined me for excessive noise $240 (what a joke)

Removed the tint today gotta get the exhaust fixed up, have to get a safety certificate and then go down to the cop shop when i've rectified these areas.

They've just got nothing better to do. I would warn all gold coasters to be on the look out for a black SS comonwhore as thats what they are getting around in these days.

so out of all those were any of the claims he had legit? i mean it the tint is all good why you have to replace it.

Have friends who have a second set of glass so they change it go to the shop have it inspected and go home and put the goods back on again.

Top tec day sorry to say i could't stay the whole day. great to see so many Z's all together.

anyone know the cost on having these done

1 LH tadius rod bush is leaking oil
2 LH steering rack boot is torn
3 LH upper control arm bushes

all they could find wrong after a service on the Z

oh and i need to machine the rotors or i could just save up for the group bye
