Took it out for a bit of road test ... making 21.5 psi at 4300rpm on 58% throttle opening. The new cams seem to be working pretty well in the mid range. The tune is a mess eg. 10.4:1afr under boost and lean under light throttle, still safe enough to drive :br:
Good to see you rolling again N. Did you ever get my email where i suggest you use logging and "mixturemap" to tune fuel? It seems to be filed under "outcasts" in my mail rather than under "sent"
Yeah I did, have meant to e-mail you ... where is "mixturemap" or are meaning the "fuel table" ? Have done a couple of log's, will send for you to have a look. Did discover after doing the logging thing that the #2 fuel table wasn't being activated as it should ... which is from 14.5psi boost ? always something...
Found it ... downloaded the G4+ software and there was ... will have to hurry up and get my S..T together and upgrade.
Hey lostsoul, love this post. Can you possibly tell me the number of magnets in the ATI crank trigger outer shell and what trigger pick-up you are using as I am interested in a similar setup
Thanks. Re the ATI Crank Trigger, don't know as I am not using one. My setup for the Crank Shaft is a 24-1 trigger wheel ( no magnets ) bolted to a modified alloy UDP ...the pick-up is a Variable reluctance (reluctor) trigger sensor. For the Cam Sync the pick-up is a Hall Effect Sensor. Well worth doing.
Im running an ATI damper setup but dont have magnets either. Just teeth. I have a Hall sensor on the crank though... and a AEM disk in the CAS.
Currently fitting a Link G4+ Thunder ecu ... it is a wire-in jobby, just need to finish the "C" and "D" Harnesses before I can plug it in.
