Rob (hidden on other side of engine):"shit, I've lost another 10mm spanner"

Rob: "Umm, guys I think my spanner is in the RHS throttlebody, but now this bloody hose is stuck in there"
Greg: "Shut up about that frigging spanner, look at the band-aid on my finger from following your silly suggestion that it was in the inlet coolant hardpipe"

Rob: "Hang on, I see it, it's stuck behind the brake booster"

Greg:"Get your chicken leg off my foot please"

Benny: "Shut up guys and lean on the car and they'll think we did the work ourselves"

Greg: "Oops, the camera is on me slacking off and smoking a cigar, I better frown and look like I'm in intelligent thought about something ... "
Greg: "Ahh, finally an under-car spot to take a nap.... zzzzzzz"

Baby:"Daddy, what happened to that man with the funny cigarette?"
Father: "Well son, it's like this, never use a standard jack when getting under a zed..."

Rob:"Hmm, GRUNT- It's gotta go left to clear the brake booster"
Benny: "No, it's got to go right to clear the steering linkage"
Greg: "Hmm, I wonder if they'd notice if I pinched that nice shiny UDP?"

Rob: "Now if I rock my hips forward, it will look make my quads are bigger than they really are... they look huge don't they guys ? ... guys?"
Mike: "I'd make a sarcastic remark Rob, but I've just realised I've been snapped with my cap on backwards so I'll just laugh and deflect the attention back to you"
Greg: "Rob, I've told you before, you can't mate with a VG30DETT"

    [IMG][/QUOTE]
Rob: "Well at least we found that bloody 10mm, pity it was stuck in one of the inlet valves... oh, well- this rag will cover up any evidence"

Rob: "For gods sake, why won't that damn spanner drop out of the inlet valve? I know, we'll tilt the engine until it just drops out"
Mike: "Umm, Rob, what about all that oil on the ground?"
Rob: "Shut up Mikey, that $5 spanner has great value to me and I want it back, besides, i'm fairly certain it might get damaged if we start the engine up with it still in the cylinder"

Rob: "That's it, I'm going to cut the bastard out with this nifty air powered saw I pinched from Chrispy last week"
Person on ground: "Oh shit...wait for me to get out before you let rip Rob!!!"
Rob: "Excuse me, are you forgetting our customer service guarantee policy ... fix it or jolly roger it? You'll stay there and you'll like it"

Rob: "Hahh, this saw is amazing, I've cut through the block like butter"
Person holding can of WD40: "Do you need some lubrication, Rob?"
Rob: "Hummp, are you confusing me with that KY fella?"

Rob (red-faced): "Eerr, OK, I might have gone a bit far with that air-saw, I'll just pretend like i'm adjusting the throttle cable on a newly-started engine"
Benny (in passenger seat): "... errr, Rob, I think this is that 10mm spanner of yours in the passenger footwell ... "
Greg (right arm showing): "How do i get out of this chicken-shit outfit?"
Rob: "... was that crack aimed at me??"

    *quick update*

Our tuning guru Karl sent me a new tune that arrived in the post today which i quickly installed into the stock ECU and it has fixed some breaking down issues that i've had at high RPM from using a temporary Romulator till the EPROM got burnt. Turbos are only running on 15psi maximum atm due to the adjustable wastegate actuators being set too low. But even on the 15 psi with a proper tune of 12:1 AFR's and a stock ignition timing map, thing thing feels insane to drive!!! Breaks traction in second gear on good sticky tyres and only about ~800rpm extra lag over stock turbos.

This weekend i'm hoping to get time to get this all fixed up and adjust the actuators to suit the turbos full potential of 20psi, which will make this Zed an absolute weapon! I've been in 300kw Zeds before and i feel my Zed is on par with them atm even on only 15psi, so it'll be very interesting to see how she goes when at full potential! :D

Once i sort out these few teathing issues over the coming week i'll book her in for a dyno run asap to get some AFR and KW figures to share with you all. But so far, i'm loving the shit out of these GT28RS cores!!!!! [TIS]

You guys checked the wastegates tho right? The profec can handle double the wastegate pressure...

obviously didn't test the wastegate pressure correctly bro. the springs are set to weak. so the actuator rods need adjusting. It's NOT the EBC. I'll get it fixed though soon enough :)

That seems really weird. I was watching when Karl did it. I just can't see how adjusting the wastegate arms will help. I don't think you could pull them in any further and they opened at 15 PSI. You sure it's not the boost controller? Those Profecs are dicky things to use, everyone seems to have trouble with them.

Try some boost jets first, see if that will raise the boost. If so then it's the controller. Easier than trying to adjust the actuator arms anyway ;)

They are easy as to use as long as they are connected correctly... The other thing there is that Benny had the profec running fine on the stock turbs...
