Agreed Raheen, but if Al can get everything coated liberally with CRC soon enough it will certainly go along way in getting the car running again. It is going tobe a huge job, but the qld zed crew doesn't give in easily.
You are doing a fantastic job guys. I think I'd rather pull a car apart and rebuild than the same to a house !!! Whichever, a complete nightmare. Hope you get a place to live in soon AZA and by the sound of it the zed will be back soon.
My plan is to replace all compys and switches. I still have a few bits left over from the slicktop wreck. ECU, and window switches are among them. Im sure all others will be easy enough to find through members. Ill go through the connectors and clean and re-lubicate them all.
Good Luck! Good luck the electrics are rediculous complicated, if it all goes to crap you can always strip it out and make it a track car
I've got a lot of electrical odds and ends I'd be more than happy to donate out of my 2 seater if needed.
Good hands indeed im still kinda speechless about all that has happened since last week. like to thanks Al, Cam and Eric - a2zed for not letting my ole girl give up the ghost just yet. oh and all the others that have help so far and in the future. I hope I can do the QLD and aus300zx crew proud if I can still make the nationals this year Thanks again all from the man of not so many words

Calling All to Arms Hey I need a hand this saturday with Aza's car. Work has been busy and I havent been able to get to some urgent jobs before corossion kicks in. Things that need to be done. Suspension and steering needs to be disasembled and re lubricated. Diff checked. Fuel tank drained Engine bay stripped for painting. All the goodies behind the dash need to be removed. Door cards removed and internals cleaned. Front bar and guards removed so I can get access to the chassis rails for fishoiling If anyone is free and can help ill put on some snags and a carton of light beer. Ill have the car under cover so there should be no sunburnt backs for once. I have tools but you are welcome to bring your own. Kickoff at 10am Let me know if you can make it. Cheers Al
