Aza's car is 90% complete. Engine went in over the weekend and we had it running well for about an hour. :D

After that things went downhill as we discovered a coolant leak from the passenger side head gasket.

Being unable to move the car in and out of the workshop by myself now that it has its engine in (too heavy) Aza and Cam came and picked up the car on the trailer to go back up to Aza's to get the heads off and see what the problem is.

I would have loved to have seen the car drive away from my shop I am still proud of what has been achieved and put out big thanks to all that have helped in this rebuild.

The guy who put that engine together needs sacking, pity he is the owner of the car as well. Guess I will do a house call in the next day or so to see where they went wrong.

    Great effort by everyone

as Al said big thanks to everyone who has helped out over the last couple of months, when she first went under water my first thought was well its buggered now what things can I salvage and sell and put towards another car. I do have to thank Al for the million hours he put into the car without him this would not have happened.

Update as of tonight: Seemed the long bolt short bolt was mixed up when putting the passenger side head on, unsure who put em round the opposite way I was just the Torque man with the torque wrench. The head is back on now and cams then realised i didnt have any silicone so called it quits for the day and went and bought some. So first thing in the morning I will finish putting everything back on and fire her up. I so can't wait to drive her down the road it's been way too long..

Thanks again everyone and hope to see yas on the next cruise :)

I blame Trev, he was the headbolt-putter-iner-a.

Were the cam seals leaking? If they were I'd take the blame for that :p Only until they come off to do the head bolts again tho!
