I remember the wheels you just built, silver already, right? Go for the pop on the Andrews V and you can chop and change. The build sort of deserves the attention anyway haha

yeah he does , his amazing , i was lucky when he said he will do the job ,

 

got the engine back , but the same old problem the sump is no good again , keep having problems with it , i really need to just go dry sump and be done with it , at the moment i put the stock turbos back on it and the 1700cc injectors , just to get it all up and running again , then the 2600cc ids will go in and the new g35 900 as well , need to send the car away to fab up tubular exhaust manifolds , then the final tune ,

 

i cant wait to take this thing to Sydney Motorplex, roll racing, and Cootamundra etc etc , we should be there next year with 2x 1000whp supras and Aurther from tuners edge , if any of you boys want to joint us , your more then welcome some well known fast melbourne cars will be heading up as well ( i think ) i cat wait

 

no real update, but we started the engine ran in the cams, and bedded in the rings, the next step in breaking in the engine is to put it through some heat cycles, only done about 3, but they really do need more, we are going to run the Bosch 74mm DBW throttle bodies as something happen to one of mine, so good time to upgrade, i painted the body at home just temp for now till i sort out the potential dry sump as the engine is just to tall an i don't like it , but see how we go ,
at the moment its still on stock turbos, the car will be sent away in jan to get the new turbos manifolds fabbed up ready for the lagger turbos, after that point we should be able to send it, but not to the max power level of the engine, as the last part of the puzzle will be intercooler , these turbos will max out at 1800whp but not the engine there should be another 400+ in it, i will never take it there.

 

I had a set of these about 20 years ago, should be split pins on the large centre nuts. They do fall off. I still remember throwing the remaining nuts a centre hubs in the bin cause I was pissed one nut fell off hahaha

yeah they car came with them on it when i first got it they were 17 x 9 front and 17 x 10 rears , but i only have 3 i did look for the 4th thru some people but could not find one at all so tbh i just chucked them out , boy do i regret that one now , but i have the 18ns now so all good, actually these are not even my favorite wheel , my fav is the weld s71 wheels lol , see how we go tho

 

i speak to andrew a bit he knows the car quite well, yeah we are talking about entering it in runway thrash and roll racing in sydney, should be a great time, i cant wait if im honest,

small update
the above manifolds are not the one being made atm, i pulled the pin on that guy, took the car back and now it is back out again to another guy, hopefully he will be the last guy the car sees lol making good progress on the new manifolds, photos latter on when more is done. in the meantime, we managed to get a few electrical things out of the way, we hooked up the flat shit to be controlled by the ecu via the Hollinger strain gauge, not the syvecs. much faster this way. also got the map switch in so i can change maps on the fly, this is also really exciting to me ive been dying to set this up its a killa function , another neat little thing we have going on the 4inch exhaust cut outs, there will be one on each side, 4 inch dumps then straight out cutouts , that's about it tbh, things are happening slowly in the background , to find the right people to work on the car can be challenging,

i also installed the quick release bonnet hingers, again a really really good upgrade if your bonnet need to come off all the time.

i cant wait for this to be finished, i will be attending Cootamundra and syd motor plex to met up with a few or you guys.
