at Calder few weeks back , i have a diff and shaft problems as they are not copping with the new set up , its just old set up , second hand diff and my old TT axles these have been thru hell and back so the time has come for them i have other TT axles witch will go in with the NA set up
hi guys just a small update not much has been happening tbh, i took the car in for a go over , fixed some things on the car witch is great , so finally making small progress , so we finally fixed the shift light on the dyno , yay win win for that , i was dying to set it up properly the ecu was set up with a torque reducer in it , what that meant basicly the ecu reduces the torque of the engine , that could have been something active in the map from syvecs well thats sorted the flat shit ( shift cut ) is now set to 3 milliseconds not 4 , ( actually make a noticeable difference ) win win . took the power up 35? kw ( 1 psi ) so 18psi now ( power increase only on the top not the bottom ) had the gearbox temp all sorted now just waiting to send the cal file to syvecs to adjust the temp to read properly the launch control fixed again lol so no more stalling of the line , after my speedo update for some reason i bumped the launch control up to 70ks to turn of this mad the car just stall of the line , very upsetting because that same day i got kicked out of calder for to fast , but now sorted , some good fixes there the car is a phucking mental case , love it , i cant wait to turn it up to 1500+hp i will never use that on the street but it will do it no problem . Actually been done by a mate of mine ( mad 35 ) thats making 1516 hp at 4 wheels , crazy car . anyway thats all for now
small update , luke from full boost wanted to make a little vid of the car so we went to trents shop ( chequered tuning ) and one it will be out soon i the mean time i was snapping away as well , i felt a little out of place ive never have a vid made a vid before but i pulled thru , big thanks goes out to these guys for making this happen the car mad the same power 500kw 900nm 17.5 psi atw , trent managed to get some flames as well , its hard with titanium and e85 , just can get the exhaust hot enough, but will makes for a nice vid . ( will see crazy flames on the race track tho ) all in all the car is great and was a mad day, we did notice the turbos are starting the smoke about 5% on deceleration , but this is fine ,

a mate just sent me a link to the video. I like your promise to keep it raced as driven on the road. Buy the time you get it sorted, wide bodied and painted it will probably better looking than a gtr
in the quest for big power , i got the big boy plenum and the cnc billet girdle , next its the sonny bryant GT1R crank , i dont think im going to stroke the engine at all i will be leaving it at 3.8 L i will rev to 8500 or 9000 rpm ( current rpm is 6800 rpm ) with the 4.1L i can rev to 8000 ish or less . ( final decision on stroke will be made next week when i speak to my tuner ) and an order will be placed the rest of the build will consist of callies steel rods and manely pistons , all the apr bolt up and down ,, also on the table will be sleeving the block , all tho things may change , a mate lance ( mad35 ) is making 1600 whp with no sleeve we shall see about that tho im keen to sleeve , but all good either way , could just leave the sleeving for the next re build funnelly enough i will be staying away from carrillo rods and cp piston , the heads will get a make over as well , mild porting cams, TI retainers ,springs , valves , simple really . with the turbo looking at 35 82 atm , but wont know for sure till later and see whats happening with the new G . but either way the gtx 35 82 will push over 1600hp no problem

Hey badxtc how much would it cost to source a gtr motor and box and do a similar conversion to yours keeping everything as cheap as possible. By cheap I don’t mean crap I mean sensible option. Reason I ask is recently East coast z was talking of dropping $80,000 on a z with ls1 , that did include paint and bodywork probably interior too as by his own account it’s currently a work art.
Not sure what you mean by this ? Imagine your car exactly as it is now but with a gtr 3.8 motor You could laugh in my face. You could laugh in a lot of faces.
You can ring up a few places and get quotes you know tge part i have in the car. And alow over 10k for miscellaneous.
I have no interest ( interest is the stuff you get when you have lots of money) or any actual money to do this swap. I only ask so that if someone was thinking of spending large amounts of money on a VG or LS they would know at what price piont to start thinking of the GTR motor.
