And just heard that prices DO NOT INCLUDE GST.

    So add 10%.

12.40am, thats pretty good customer service :)

looks like I'd be down for a type 2 board now as well since they work with VH45's. Maybe post up on NICO as well Chris? might get a few people to help bring the prices down even if it's just in the VH section

Nice work Crispy, some good savings there on the Nistune stuff.

Usually when you buy a Nistune board you send them your ECU or a BIN file of your current ROM to be installed in the daughter board.

The prices you have above look exactly like what they used to list for commercial clients, (good for us :)), the thing is that you need to have a "NIStune Base Image Programmer Board" to write the initial program as these boards are blank.

How are we going to write the original program, IE the exact one that is in our car now ?

Or is it as simple as using the below from Nistune FAQ before installing the daughter board then uploading the image after daughter board install ?

How are we going to transfer our current chip/file on to the Nistune daughter board ?

    Hey John ,
I downloaded the mines and blitz tunes (from orig ECU's) via the consult port onto nistune on my laptop , then swapped in the nistune ECU and am able to try any tune i have (nistune laptop) via consult port

Thanks Pete, the Nistune info above sort of suggests that its not that easy, but if you say its working for you that's good enough for me :)

Agreed - my board was installed and had a stock tune put on it. Had the 650 tune saved on lappy, plugged everything in and transferred the 650 tune onto the board easy enuf :)

Thats where the 2% uncertainty comes in :p

I'll check and see what ecu I have in there now. I did have a 93 ecu, but I literally melted that one, and bought ROB260's so now I have to check.

As far as I know Richard...

What does everyone think about the wide bands? If no one says anything I'll get prices for both the Zeitronix and TechEdge.

Ive been playing around with my nistune.

Knock count doesnt quite work at this stage for z32's.
You cant run advanced features like antilag, nitrous mapping ect.
    You cant run map sensors

    But

Its really good for everything else.
    and its cheap.
    and cheap to install.
and its keeps the factory cold start, a/c advance, o2's ect.
    and its tidy
    and its easy to tune.

    Well you get the drift.
