Oh yee of little faith. I can easily produce recepits totaling 110k. In retrospect I should of saved and bought the GTR

I cant give you an exact number without sitting down and working it out, but I keep a rough tally in my head. Its well over 110k.

If I sat down and did the project right from start to finish with no problems, then sure it would be heaps cheaper, but Ive had some components come and go, swapped mechanics a few times for shit work, had a retarded tuner blow up a complete engine etc etc.

Dont forget it not only engine work, its cosmetic as well. There are very few parts left that aren't replaced. Even all the interior panels etc are new. To me its the small details that are important.

Big waste of money maybe but you can't take it with you.

I've spent 30k+... and yes, could have been a lot cheaper if things were done differently

Even if I were a multi-millionaire, I'd still own a Z32 :zlove:

 

for me prob only around 2-3K max in the nearly 1 year of ownership

not bad BUT it should be more, but just can't spare the coin this year.

Next year... im hiding the calculator from the wife

The Zed is a good car.... but for the money some people have spent, you could have sold and jumped into a much newer and dare i say, BETTER car

I guess that's when it's love. When you are blinded and no expense is too much

Personally I look forward to owning OTHER cars in my life time

 

Nathan is completely insane(I, on the other hand, am quite rational).

Including initial purchase in 2000($38,600), somewhere in the vicinity of $76000(if I don't count all the little fiddly bits, and servicing) AND STILL COUNTING!:zlove::zlove:

 

I bought my car for $12500

When I got it I recorded every cent I spent on it from wheels to wipers. When I realised I had spen over $12500 in the first year of ownership I stopped recording it, too depressing.

It was painted in Japan, freshly before being imported...

Paint code in engine bay is for cosmic black
