very nice dude. have you organised an aftermarket water temp gauge to go in yet? i would highly reccomend that you fit the sensor to the hardpipe where the stock sensor is for your gauge before you put everything together....
looking bloody el smicko, boneZX .. but do the CAS now!! ... detracts from all that beautiful bling ,, and you are going to have to do it sometime ... NOW is dat time, mon .... just do it ...!!! ..
Just use one of these and you'll retain the functionality of the original gauge... http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2822 I have one on the way at the moment. Engine looks bloody great mate and I'm greening with envy (That's an "in" joke for those that know me lol). I wish my car wasn't a daily driver sometimes. It would be great to take it off the road and spend some serious time on it. Your hard work has really paid off. Well done
talk 2 Tom aka Zrated he sells these. he owns Perth Z performance. and you wont have to pay extra shipping and currency conversion
I like the curved one ,i dont think tom sells these ones ? what is the thread pitch of our coolant temp sensors ????
ohhh the curved one is niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....gb any1 if so ill send them an email asking them if they are interested in posting a group buy for our forum for the item...item is not much but postage can save on it...
Heres another suggestion bonezx ,send me down your polished plenum to match the polished throttle bodies i got from you :zlove: :zlove: did caz organise the plenum to be done for you ,it looks great ???
i was actually reccomending him to fit the sensor into the stock location since he has everything apart as per tech article: http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.328
Another Progress Update. Longish Well got my finger out of my ass. And got the steering rack out and replaced it with a second hand one. Also split the wiring loom up and ran it under the plenum. and pushed what i could down the sides and the back. moved the PTU wires to under the nose panel. Hooked up the PCV system. Had Ed300zx over here today. (big thankyou to him) So i could copy his engine bay for the vacum hoses. Got them done then I put the fuel line kit on. Found out the reg wasn't fitting right because it has a bent pipe. (Put that on the list) Everything bolted in and vac lines hooked up. Now just need to get the power steer hose rebuilt, and a new reg the would be good for a fire up. Enjoy the pics. Can anyone tell me what the pipe circuled in green goes to. Ed300zx did have the pipe on his engine. It comes off the end of the balance pipe on the drivers side. cheers bonezx
Gee that erik gets around doesnt he that vac pipe is for your clutch booster. Eriks wont have one cos its a auto.
