short cuts? well, I never thought I'd be getting too into the mechanical side of things, but i'm starting to learn a lot more about how to make these things go a bit faster if you get my drift? I should be able to post pics of a few things installed soon. and finally get to see what the engine bay looks like with the new engine and plenum and now these few bits and pieces.. I don't think I've heard of this word 'Short Cuts'?
no thats probably right.. so long as you can see the ones past post 83... unfortunately I had all my images on an old facebook account, so delete the account, i delete the images, plus what anti was saying i think facebook changed the naming of all the images, so they all go missing.. makes the build thread look shit.. i really need to just start a new one.. but new pics will be up soon anyways.. can you see the pic above?
Mainly waiting on the goody box from coz with all the new parts we need. With luck and the australian postal system working efficiently the motor should be installed and running this weekend.
Yeah Coz has been a bit dodgy with this order. I asked for express, and told him on a monday i need it for the weekend, he didnt get around to posting it until the thursday. and its been in america still getting processed for hte past 7 days. last time i ordered, it got here in 3 days??? o0 Noel's taking good care of WaynoZ though. I've heard he takes him out a warm hot chocolate every night and leaves a water bottle under the chassis rails, then reads the mechanical section of the service manual until he goes to sleep...
cheers!! on that note,, the brake resevoiur in some of those pics that got a clean coat of black is for sale.. i painted it up to put on mine, but my car doesnt have the abs system so need to use my old one. its looks pretty.. nice and black like. asking $80 might be able to snap some pics this weekend? thanks, I saw someone painted up some better ones in a thread, but they did 4 coats colour then 5 coats clear.. Looked good, but i don't think you'd notice them that much, its not like its going to be a show car. I think what i'm going to have to do it go through the earlier posts, and do a revision post with all the pics... it would be good if i could delete everything before post 83 then, i'd have to ask mods... Nice T25 - T28 Turbos Possibly the best second hand dash available in oz??? absolutely immaculate, so i'm going to cut a hole in it for the gauge pod :/ might look into other options for the gauges.... Short Shifter.... Almost In... for the record, I apologise to Wild for being an over reactive drama queen and carrying on like a dick.. then we exchanged texts, and we talked and we laughed and and all was well again in the land of OZ! I'll prob still use it, it just sucks to cut a hole in such a good dash.. I was just thinking about the setup, because i've got that crappy carbon fibre stuff on the stereo surround at the moment... I might go over the stereo surround and the gauge pod in a high gloss black with clear coat.... so they blend with one another...

Its just not fair Damnit just after I've gone and spent all this money on all these new components, done a TT swap, replaced almost everything in the engine bay with new parts, spent money in rims and tyres, suspension and anything else I could think of... I have come to the realisation, as much as i thought everything that i could buy for the Z I have already bought, the reality of the situation has hit me... I have not yet begun to scratch the surface of how much fancy accessories there are on the market to make my Z more pretty.. for starters and then So Shiny! So much left to do.... T.T
