i've still got a fair ammount of shit planned for the interior

since those pics, i've put in the seats in properly, i made a sub box for my new soundstream sub (its the Tarantula 15" series 1000wrms dual 1ohm voice coils), i've put in the 4ch amp and bought a new monoblock (JBL GTO1201), put in the capacitor (stinger pro 1farad), i'm either going to put a carputer in the car or get a double din dvd player (somehting like this eclips AVN5495 DVD player with 30gb HDD god knows how much it'll cost... i've sent an email to alberts car audio who is an importer of their products)

i've still got a 300k speedo and the group buy gauge rings to put in...

i'm gonna get a front bar soon. i still dont know which one to get... looking at the stillen GTZ-R2 or R1... but they're pretty exxy $$$...

    its all work in progress...

we'll c how it all turns out

i have to reply to this

1st for anybody who is having problem, look at my instructions over again, ONLY USE 3M 80 OR 3M 90 and use STAPPLES just like the factory did when they put on your old trims. if people don't follow direction, how can you expect to have something that will last. use the glue i mentioned and use stapples whenever possible is the key, i mentioned that with my instructions, the italian vinyl has a cotton backing and even though when i did my Z i used the regular nylon backing it is still in the same shape now, as it did when i installed it 3 years ago, i do agree the italian vinyl is 50 times nicer and that's why that is the only material i sell, anybody that has recently buy the italian vinyl will tell you the same, and another key to this whole thing is follow dirrection don't go use 3m 77 then say hey i have lift, it is not the right glue to use, 3M 77 is for super light fabric suck as clothes, it will never work in a car with the elements. That's my 2 cents

follow direction is the key, always work for me

1st for anybody who is having problem, look at my instructions over again, ONLY USE 3M 80 OR 3M 90 and use STAPPLES just like the factory did when they put on your old trims. if people don't follow direction, how can you expect to have something that will last. use the glue i mentioned and use stapples whenever possible and at the right temperature. for example i know after applying the glue on both side of the panel i cannot try to tack it together rightaway, i know i have to wait atleast 5 minutes to do that, because if i don't i will have the same problem techtrader mentioned, i mentioned all that with my instructions, THE ITALIAN VINYL HAS A COTTON BACKING and even though when i did my Z, i used the regular nylon backing vinyl,it is still in the same shape now, as it did when i installed it 3 years ago, i do agree the italian vinyl is 50 times nicer and that's why that is the only material i sell, anybody that has recently buy the italian vinyl will tell you the same, and another key to this whole thing is follow dirrection don't go use 3m 77 then say hey i have lift, it is not the right glue to use, 3M 77 is for super light fabric suck as clothes, it will never work in a car with the elements. Re: follow direction is the key, always work for me

For your info, Only SOME of my Interior magic vinyl was stuck with 3M77 the rest was with glue from the upholsterers. That was very much stronger. It didnt matter it still lifted.

I didnt have a kit that had cotton backing. My material was purchased way before you first posted here back in December 2004/Jan 2005. The material was therefore wrong and inadequate.

My completed job was excellent initially and all factory clips and staples where replaced.

This is a material fault. It wasnt the right stuff for the job. End of story

that's why i stop selling the nylon backing, now i sell italian vinyl

i did acknowledge the material had a problem when stretched too much, that's why i no longer sell it, i did my cars 3 years ago and no issue,i think the difference is that you stretched yours and i didn't. To put all to rest, i will mail you a sample of the new italian vinyl, you can take it to any upholster and verify the quality of the material before you install it, and please use 3m 80 or 3m 90, or ask an upholster for something better. my point is the italian vinyl is far much better then the nylon backing you got

Why didn't you just make all the old pieces slightly

oversized so that no stretching would be needed?

It's not like it would have put a huge dent in your profit.

    putting the material aside...

i asked for the exact matching colour to the dash...

mine doesn't match... are you going to do anything about that?

and i can take photos of the difference if you don't believe me.

Why didn't you just make all the old pieces slightly

i'm now doing that, as a proffesional i didn't do that to my car, but i now relize i need to make the pieces bigger because not everybody know or have true knowledge on how to apply the kit, so the pieces are bigger and no need for stretching the material

Will ask em if they have one of those huge staple guns too.

Ill keep you guys posted on the job. Anyone have an ETA of how long it took them to install their kits? Remind me in a few months and ill let you know how its holding up too.

So far im skeptical from reading this post...i am iCER...lets hope i dont get the wrong end of the stick interior-magic, cause im telling you know, if i do this properly and 3 months down the track they start to lift....
