Put a map up if you can showing the route - im a bit disappointed there is only 7-8 of us going !
So may as well try get some of us together along the way

I wll be on holiday so was planning to leave the GC at about 10am stop at Woodburn for lunch & arrive at resort around 3pm.

well most likely be traveling up the coastal way from sydney when i look at the map, its about 2 hrs shorter in driving .

 

I'm going through Armidale to Coffs.
I can meet up with the coastal crew at say Macksville and drive in with them.

 

Wish I could still come cause,i live,in tamworth!

Yeah I would have loved to come but it was actually lucky I canceled (and 1st one to do it) have to save 4 grand for moving costs + $2000+ for bond and rent in advance (prob more with bill bonds etc, both to Melb tho) and now changing the brakes who did it wrecked my brake cables so need to order some new ones (which I'm waiting on arriving from CZP) so was a sign for me lol otherwise my deposit would have been wasted!

I'm sad though I cant see everyone, the place looked really nice and the events looked really well organized, make sure you take lots of photo's guys and paste them up afterwards please!

 

Just curious with the big bush fires up that way are there currently any road closures that would affect me traveling from nowra ?

Better than the oxley highway from Walcha to Port Macquarie?

If I were to arrange the first inaugural "reliable Zed cruise" it would probably run from sydney up the putty road then either east to the bucketts way off the pacific highway. From there, go north to either walcha for the oxley highway, or further again to armidale for the waterfall way across to port macquarie or coffs harbour respectively. After those 3 tanks of fuel are burned, crack a coldie on the beach somewhere and count the number of Z fatalaties along the way.

 

Walcha to port is an amazing road for driving!

 

Due to unforseen circumstances, also a personal reason i have to revoke my attendence to this event..

Dont worry, im angry at myself .
And im terribly sorry that to all the hard work and organisation of this event that i am now letting down.
Take some assurance that i fully appreciated what you have done and will attend in future any events made IN THE 300!!!! .

my engine is ariving on the 12th so i am prepping to trailer the car up that weekend also but this is not the reason for my withdrawl..

I'm so peeved to have to post this.
I'm out
Kitty was off the road and was planning to bring the wifes car.
We have had a driveline vibration, and on the weekend pulled exhaust to change out the centre bearing, only to find the vibration is in the gearbox.
Not only that but also snapped 2 bolts on the exhaust getting it off.
This moves up the engine swap from the spare car, and puts us out of the trip.

So not happy about this, as we were looking forward to catching up with Jamie and Lynda and meeting new people.
Such is the life of Zed ownership.
