So we are rocking up for the 12th 13th and 14th.. on the friday when they are leaving ?

and advertising in the local paper could be a good thing.. perhaps if we organise a day to "cruise" somewhere and advertise a starting point as the hotel ?

ill make sure i get up bright and early to be a welcoming commity and clean the Z or Z's .

Sports Car Club Show and ARC/ World Rally Championships at Coffs

I will check the dates again

I know that the sports car club is planning there show on the saturday which would be the 13th - so not sure on how this is supposed to be in line with the ARC? So I will recheck all the dates again.

We have planned to start the cruise from the SLSC as its a good place to meet up and close to the 1st leg of the cruise route, the cruise route was posted earlier, it covers nearly everything to see. I was thinking however that we should insert a photo shoot at the National Aquarium from the 1st leg because the trees overhang the road there like a serene arch which makes an awesome backdrop for a photo's and especially the procession of Z's would look great. I am actually heading there in the next few days to take some shots of the Z so I will post them up when done so you can see what I am talking about

Was not going to show and shine advertise nor advertise the cruise route as such myself.

Specifically I was thinking of advertising only the meet place at the jetty to get the other Z's here to show up, as there are lots of Z's here and these people are not in the forum - that is my thoughts anyway.

 

Awesome you and Jamie are doing a fantastic job. The local knowledge is invaluable.
If this ends up being really successful I think we should seriously consider organising it as an annual event.

ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTIONS

Hotel Studio Rooms -$149.00 incl. 2 x Buffet Breakfasts

Standard hotel style of accommodation. As you walk into
the room to find either a king bed or 2 singles (on
request). They have an en suite with shower over bath,
television, tea, coffee & microwave facilities and a small
seating area including 2 seater lounge and table & chairs.
Village side of the resort only.

Paradise Spa Bure ? $176.00 incl. 2 x Buffet Breakfasts

You walk into a small lounge / dining style area. They


have a small kitchenette with microwave, toaster,
electric frypan, tea & coffee making facilities, cutlery &
crockery.
King Size bed (2 singles on request), and large oval shape
spa bath with overhead shower under a glass atrium
roof. There is also a small area with laundry facilities.
(Sofa available for an Adult or Child at an extra nightly
rate of $35). Reception side of the resort only.


2 Bedroom Spa Villa -$255.00 incl. 2 x Buffet Breakfasts

Fully Self-Contained 2 Bedroom Villa. Full kitchen,
Living area, dining, lounge and laundry. Main bedroom
with King size bed (2 singles on request), second
bedroom with 2 singles beds (King Bed is available
upon request), and a full main bathroom with Spa.
$35 Per Night Charge for any extra bedding required
in the room. (Required for the 5th Person in the Room)
Largely village side of the resort with a few villas available
on the reception side of the resort.

3 Bedroom Spa Villa -$315.00 incl. 2 x Buffet Breakfasts

3 Bed Resort Spa -$315.00 incl. 2 x Buffet Breakfasts

3 bedroom style Accommodation on a single level.
There is an open plan lounge and dining area, full kitchen
and laundry. There is a master bedroom with a King size
bed, and ensuite. Second and third bedrooms have 2
single beds in each (Beds can be joined to have 2 x King
Beds). There is the one main bathroom with spa bath

I would suggest to anyone who has not yet paid a deposit should seriously consider doing so ASAP.
If the ARC is on that week/weekend accomodation may become scarce
I will ring the resort today & see how they are positioned & advise everyone who has not paid a deposit what the room situation is.

 

Ok, I have spoken with the resort & they are filling up quickly!!

There are only 12 hotel rooms, 12 Spa Bure left, if you are prepared to share there are 24 2 Bed Spa Villas

Get in quick is my suggestion

Australian rally championships starts 12th

I can confirm the ARC at Coffs starts on the 12th and not the 10th as I thought earlier.

The routes etc have not been released as yet and we will have to wait till it gets closer for that

I'm planning on going to Tamworth on thursday night and staying over, then grouping up and going over to Coffs on friday as a group.
I'm not sure if Mitch is still going, but my son is working flat out getting his zed ready, as is my mate in town (engine rebuild)
