saw Gottago's today. Definitely the sh!t. Talk about HD camber arms. Look like they're made from factory arms, cut down with braced steam pipe inserts and BIG mofo thread (unsure of wall thickness) for adjustment.

Maybe like this with offset bushes for fine adjustment.

EDIT: Just read that welding of suspension components is not allowed by Queensland Transport.

Whiteline make some KCA336, Fulcrums part number SPF1659K but about $300 just for the bushes.

If you search the Fulcrum part number on the forum will you see others have been less then pleased with them, I had some fitted buy Fulcrum a while ago, stopped the inside wear on 245/18 with stock suspension which was the reason for fitment. Haven't had any problem with squeaking or adjustment drift.

Don't know if the problems people have had are related to fitment.

But they have done what they were supposed to do, saved my tyres, and I am not concerned about them breaking as they are a modification to the stock arm. Haven't heard of anyone breaking a stock arm.

    For:

    * Safe
    * Adjustable
    * Does the job of saving tyres
    * No Defect Issues

    Against:

    * Not a race looking part in interesting anodised colours to show your mates.
    * Costs the same as ricey alternatives.
    * Probably not enough adjustment for low riding Mexicans or race setups.

If you need to fix inner tyre wear on the front, its not the cheapest, its not the sexiest but it is the safest.

Would recommend getting a proper suspension shop like Fulcrum to install and setup as K Mart Auto might struggle with them.

Here's an install for Whiteline as a matter of interest with pictures to read:

Fulcrums product warranty is pretty good if you are worried about issues, 36 Months / 60,000 km.

Just a really out of the box idea - why not NOT lower the car as much :p

DinoZ Talks sh#t for a living.

I wasn't looking for an adjustable outcome, and by sleeving inside the original arm guarantees the strength after it is welded back together.

Good point mate, but I have been having issues with incorrect front camber for 10 years(and my car is definitely not lowered at all).:(

Not the time or place for this I know, but what the hey...

Is it only on the drivers side? I have the same issue ;) :br:[TIS]

No Mike, it's on both sides(much more severe on the L/H side).

    I've used these concentric bushes.

Only good for abount 1.5 degrees of camber max.

Also the set I had made a terrible squeaking noise from day one. I binned them.
They'd also need to be adjusted, I found thew would spin by themselves no matter how tight you locked them in!

I'd shim the bracket before using these again.

I read your original post about issues with these.

From what I can understand original arms don't have grease nipples, part of the fitment is to drill and fit them (see Whiteline Install Doc), although they don't seem to be supplied as part of the kit, mine have the nipples as installed by Fulcrum.

Did yours have nipples on them ?

    Egg ....

    No nipples.

I'd constantly be spraying them with lithium grease I think it was... sort of worked for a few days.
Yeah grease nipples would have helped I feel, you can only really do the ends without.
It was only one side that ever squeaked too, frustrated and annoyed the hell out of me.

this is what i have in my car ,, for the past 13 plus years , never had a problem with them at all , you cant really get crazy adjustment out of them but work 100 % with out any issues at all ..

they are very hard to adjust even when the car is on the hoist.

Ive raced the car back in the day time and time and time over and over again . and also some recent race days . never had any problem ..

i do have some of these uas ones in the garage (unopened) !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

this is going to be a big problem for our cars , so ii thin people should really stop getting these A/M arms as we know they don't really work for a long time . and money is money ..

at the end of the day what brisz has shown in the pics i believe is the best bang for you buck all day . and safe ( believe me when i say i put my car through a lot of shit ) so as for them ever failing, nuh not yet..

( does your car really need to be adjusted that many times ,, )

Strange that the grease nipples arnt supplied as part of the kit, adjustment looks a little tedious and setup is required, so getting someone like Fulcrum to fit, adjust and install nipples would be the way to go for someone not looking for extreme adjustment. Probably about $500 fitted with a wheel alignment bugger all more then some arms on there own.

Good point, fine tune with the concentric bush.

Hard to fine tune with shims.

Mine were were slightly different from the ones you pictured BTW
    Got them form UAS.

I reckon if you made some bulk kits it would cost only about $30 or $40 for decent high tensile bolts and quality components.

I have had a look at this kit and looks pretty tough....would the amount of adjustability of the stated +- 0.5 degree be enough for getting the camber correct? Keen to comment anyone?

So what is UAS's response to this? They've been online posting about their build.

Apart from Dinoz and myself, I doubt that any of the complainants posting here, have bothered to contact UAS/JP(because JP has stepped up to the plate with any issues on these items, as would be expected).

    I have no doubt JP...

This definatly needs to be queried further and addressed by UAS.

I have a new set sitting and waiting to be fitted.
After fitting arms / Routinely inspecting the Arms condition is of common knowledge.
But a stated further insight would assure me if there are dangers, precautions or info for further instructions.

    I would like to know.
UAS should clarify and post a thread.
