awesome, if anyone doesn't get in on this they would be silly...

HPC coating makes them look so sexay... I know they are hidden away and all but still, the benefits are great too.. (besides the looks)

 

yeah but like I said they won't look like this once they have been fitted for a while!......so please keep this in mind! (See my earlier post!)

with the coating it would make the engine bay some what cooler wouldnt it, and you would get a(ever so slight) power increase and effeciency increase?i would like a cooler engine bay and under car for a reason thanks to an experement(no some sound deadener is not very heat resistant)

 

Yes....helping to keep engine bay temps to a min is one of the main reasons for considering HPC! Have a read through the old GB2 thread? .......as I remember one member commenting on the fact that he could almost touch the headers with the HPC!..... even after the car had been running for a while!

As far as power & efficiency goes.......HPC helps to keep surface temps consistent across the headers & so minimise 'hot spots' at the bends due to the friction caused when hot exhaust gases are forced to change direction inside the pipe!........ I think the result is called an increase in 'Laminar Air Flow'..........& so helps the headers to remove the exhaust gases more efficiently!.......maybe someone with a little more technical knowledge will elaborate further??.......or correct me if I'm off the mark??
