TTZ NA Headers - Rnd 3

OK let's get this ball rolling........

This is Round 3 of my GB for TTZ Headers! :zlove:

Price is $550 gst inc per standard finish set! + delivery to you via registered Auspost!

HPC is an EXTRA $245 gst inc + shipping to HPC factory & back!
(Unfortunately this HPC shipping is an added extra due to rising costs - but price will be shared by bulk shipping sets & will depend on how many people want HPC?? Normally charged by HPC at $15 each way per set!)



This image is a set of headers with HPC!......this is the actual set that was eventually fitted to my NA & produced approx an extra 11RWKW! :zlove::zlove:
(Please note HPC does not remain looking like this once it goes through numerous heat cycles when fitted to your car - it does eventually become a duller looking finish!.......but you shouldn't be getting it just for looks! )

Instructions on how to 'cure' the standard paint finish can be found on the TTZ website (see link above)

Please note these headers HAVE NO PROVISION TO KEEP YOUR EGR!!! & sorry this is NON-NEGOTIABLE! - that's just how these particular headers are made!

Do your own search on the forum to read about the pros & cons of this & make up your own mind if you are happy about this or not?
They do have provision for the O2 sensors!

We need a MINIMUM of 7 buyers with PAID deposits BEFORE we can place the order!
I was hoping for a minimum of 6 but we now have to buy a minimum of 10 sets in order to do another production run of these! - but Simon has agreed TTZ will put 3 sets into stock!......luckily for us! & for 3 late comers who will undoubtedly want them after the GB is closed!

Deposits will be 50% of $550 = $275 & NON-REFUNDABLE!!!
Sorry for this requirement but I need to know you are SERIOUS about buying a set!! I can't afford to be left with multiple sets of headers that I have to pay for out of my own pocket! - I'm sure you understand!

The only way deposits will be refunded is if you get someone else to buy out your place in the GB!.......which I think is fair!

FULL PAYMENT - including all shipping costs! - will be required by the completion of the manufacturing process (approx 4-6 weeks from placement of the order!) & PRIOR to them being shipped to you!

If you want HPC then FULL PAYMENT + shipping costs to & from the HPC factory will need to be made BEFORE headers are completed!....... so they can be sent off to HPC asap once they arrive here in VIC! - that way we don't waste any time & hold up the GB any longer than we need to!

Please note this second round dragged on waaaay too long due to a change in manufacturer mid GB because of quality control issues with the previous manufacturer that emerged from the Round 1 GB! I swore I would NEVER do another round of this GB as some members accused me at the time of ripping them off! ........but I can't help myself so here we go again!

Just $275 deposit for now for headers only so we can get the order confirmed! We can worry about getting the rest of the payments sorted out during the manufacturing period!

 

Gaskets! I forgot to mention I'm still looking into pricing on NISSAN OEM header gaskets! I'll post up pricing as soon as I have it confirmed?? Last time they were $27.10ea but with the way NISSAN have been increasing their prices lately it will be more this time around!

 

If you are keen a bung could be welded in to the rear runner and the standard EGR pipework modified to suit. I've just been through this with my V8, wasn't too hard at all.

 

Do we need new gaskets or can we re-use the ones we have on our current headers? From the other GB's its looking like the former...

What sort of time frame would it take a very experienced zed mechanic to install these?

 

4-6 hours

 

MAX is on the money here, my exhaust bloke (who has installed headers onto 2 other Zeds not including mine) said it's a 5hr job (+materials for the new test-pipes or whatever they're called on an NA )

Not trying to be a smart arse or anything but shouldnt the price on a group buy be cheaper? or are these headers not available unless a group buy goes ahead?

I'm keen for a set with HPC coating, but I wont be able to put a deposit down til the end of the week.

damn they look sexy.. and I need a new zorst to suit the motor I've just got for my car, my god after 3 years is that a light I see at the end of the tunnel???

 

yep!!! basically these headers are now only available if a GB for a batch of 10 is made at any one time! & the price is already cheaper! Last GB they were $580 a set! .......as unfortunately we had to factor in the expense of new jigs when we changed manufacturer!...........but these are now only $550 a set!......even with a 5% increase in manufacturing costs!

 

I beg to differ .......for Vic members Joe Imbesi can get these things on an NA in about 3hrs!........but he's not your average Z mechanic! :zlove:

& these headers will connect to your stock front pipes!........the only 'extras' you need are the head gaskets (which will be available through this GB once pricing is finalised!) & gaskets at the collector joint with your old system??.......which most installers will provide!

 

Only need 1 more to make the 7 min to place the order! .............that's assuming everyone pays their deposits!
