bought these headers and installed with cleary bout a year ago. dont listen to anyone who says u need to pull the motor out coz thats rubbish (i was quoted 2 grand from a certain shop im not gonna name).

u do have to drop oil filter and unbolt a very small portion of the steering rack.....and have 6 elbows can be a fiddly job. its much easier if you first pull out solenoids for AIV, EGR and PRVR so u can get to top manifold studs.

Postage Costs! Just to give you all an idea........last GB postage to the eastern states & SA with Registered Auspost with insurance was around $25-$30 per set! ........around $40+ to WA & $45+ to the NT!........gives you a rough idea!

agreed, helped a friend fit headers to his 300zx NA about 18 months-2 years back......its not a difficult job really, a little fiddly and you need to have decent tool set, but definately a job that is doable froa home mechanic.....worst bit about it is that without a hoist, you will spend a fair bit of time on your back under the car fighting with nearly siezed bolts, make sure you spray some inox or equivelant lub on them the day before to make the job easier!

very true, i also forgot to mention that i was lucky enough to have access to 2 forklifts so that solved the hoist problem

So far only 6 members have expressed interest??.........BUT at this stage only 1 deposit is showing in my account??? (when I checked last night!).......so effectively there is only 1 confirmed buyer at this stage!

If we don't get 7 paid deposits then depending on what everyone wants to do??.......we either wait until we do get 7??........but this will most likely mean we'll miss the Nov order deadline & have to wait until next year to get them manufactured??

or we just forget the whole thing?......& refund the deposits to those who have already actually paid??........but it will be the GB participants call at the end of the day?

 

My deposit will be going in when I get paid tomorrow, buying a motor this month has left the funds a little low

 

I will suss out what my bank is doing, because I transferred yesterday. I'll chase it up

 

I think it can take up to 3 business days to transfer money to other banks

 

Yeah if you have transferred the payment don't stress!.......it will usually take 48hrs or so to clear into my account!
