In the telegraph today I saw a pic of a 300 totaled by a pair of street racing pulsars in Guildford (Sydney). Cant these idiots do it at Eastern ck or join a club and get it out on the track rather than Fing up some ones pride and joy or killing some one?

WOKBURNER Bringer of fun and mayhem

Bogans in Commodores and other shitters!

And   :bash: they draw the shit on those who really give a shit about their cars and take it out to the track and do it properly!

Going to the track is alot cheaper, hell of alot more fun, shit loads safer and you dont end up in a cell with a big dude name bubba,

Everyone has put the foot down at the lights once or twice in the past (god knows I have been no angel in the past - big fine taught me) but organising these drag races (en masse) and keeping the foot buried well past the speed limit is a joke. The best thing about having a Zed is laughing at the dick next to you at the lights when they want to play, then just sitting back at the green light and watch them go (racing off looking like a tool) LOL knowing you would also be laughing at them at the races, not to mention you look cool in a Zed just sitting there:cool:

Twats that play these games in the middle of the city deserve all they get!:bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :banned: :banned: :banned:

    Agree 100% ^^

I just don't understand how they can risk a massive fine, loss of licence, damage to their own car, personal injury and or death for the thrill that those few seconds of illegal street racing bring... Racing belongs on the track.

yeah was gonna put this in the other thread

The news were more than happy to splash the pic of the red sportscar everywhere making no mention that it was the victim of some cockfaces driving crap.

I can see some retarded advocacy group getting all righteous and calling for p platers being banned from driving cars like a zed :bash:

yeah i am pretty pissed off... I have had a few people say to me today, 'hey did you see that 300zx on the news that crashed in a street race?' It gives all of us a bad name... the media in this country is a total joke, they are jumping all over street racing right now, and will show anything that supports their case whether or not its actually accurate.

Also, there was that fatal crash the other night, and they were making such a big deal out of that fact that he had a holden jumper on, claiming he was dressed like a 'racing hero'! Every bogan in the country wears holden racing jumpers. Rather than saying that this particular guy was a total idiot, they try to imply that anyone with a holden jumper or in this case a sports car like the 300zx is a dangerous street racing hoon    just my 2 cents

im starting to get into that 'mature' state of mine these days, dont think i'll continue on street racing like i used to.. did some pretty dumb things despite being round 3am.. but im comming to a realisation theres more important things in life than showing someone that my car's quicker than theres.
i must be getting older

What journalism and politics have in common, is that neither of them let the truth/reality interfere with the agenda!

The 17-year-old driver of the 300ZX was taken to Westmead Hospital with shoulder injuries, but was later released.

You're right, Greg, but I felt using "agenda" was better for getting my point across, which is that they are all lying bathplugs with their own drums to beat!

    car crushing ay

"You have to question whether, as in the case of the United States, the solution to this problem is in part the compacting of vehicles into a cube dropped on the front lawn of their homes"

If they do that then ill be stealing politicians cars and racing them. Id like a collection of cubed politicians cars on my front lawn. It'll be modern art making a statement of defiance ha.

    :p

The government and old politicians are so dumb, like the new "no turbos for P platers law" as any shit box car can get up to 180kmph if given enough road. Half of the time you see these street racing stories it's always in some pos Holden or like this story little lawnmower engine Pulsars.

Although their intentions are good, it's the whole rebellion thing like your parents telling you not to smoke cigarettes OR ELSE WE'LL KICK YOUR PUNK ASS! How about educating people? How about making driving tests harder? What about mandatory defensive driver courses? What about building more race tracks and advertising them publicly? The list is endless of things that would work, this whole "dont do it or we'll crush your car" tactic is stupid and it wont work. It doesn't work in the U.S, and it wont work here either...
