Auto's dont stand a chance in rolling starts. Back when i had my Z, i gave my friend a go who also has a Z. I had a pod,cat-back zorst, fmic at the time, he had tbe,fmic,pod,18psi. From a stand-still start he bet me, he rocketed off where i was stuck wheelspinning but i eventually caught up but you get the idea. But from a rolling start i ripped him everytime by a big margain aswell.
Would depend on the rolling start. If the auto starts in the right gear then maybe not, but the auto is more likely to be in the wrong gear and take a second to change. So yeah, manual would win then.
Auto rocks for me at the off street drags, and I just laugh when I hear dude next to me grinding gears to do a quick shift
