Headers are getting trial fitted today, thanks Tosh Tosh. It seems like good timing that I had an NA to work with at the same time the headers came in.

Stock Dump size...?

What's the stock Dump size? Was it 2" ?

Is there a particular reason why these ones are 2.35" ?

i still want these but my fiduciary situation is a little difficult atm, i have insurance and rego due soon, so i need to wait until i can afford those before i go and stuff a whole bunch of money into somehting else

 

Stock dumps are less than 2"

As for the size of these dumps, there is no particular reason for being 2.35", its just the way they are made. The stock turbo's exhaust turbine wheel is a lot smaller than 2.35" and the dump expands out to 2.35 at the flange.

To be honest I think these are the best value for money vs performance you will get. Going 3" on a stock turbo Z32 just doesn't really add up in my opinion. You are going to run out of puff on the stock turbos at around 400rwhp and that's using water injection and other mods to get there.
