atm i have HKS 5 bolt pipes . which are virtualy the same as the OEM ones.

i did pick them up for a song ($25 off ebay) about 3 years ago. but if i could get a decent set of 5 bolters for a good price (not $800 like some people want) id be 1st on the list to buy

 

Hey, I bit the bullet and went your 2.5" dumps. Given stock turbos, there's no real gain waiting for those 3" in the other GB. Especially given the price

I've just paid on your site, how many numbers did you have now? If shipping isn't free, I'll probably just pick-up if that's ok It's a nice drive anyhow.

 

hey im reconsidering getting these.....i first thought i would wait till the other GB of the 3" was finalised and yeh its way outta my budget...

i did read that you were planning to make some 3" dumps, any approx on how much...would it be gold low like this price?

Yes i will never get 400rwkw, max i would go is probably 300rwkw...so no real performance advantage really for the 3"..... but the 3" dumps would obviously sound alot nicer than the 2.5"...

 

How do you mean nicer? What noise difference is there from bigger dumps? Just louder or something else?

 

My 3" dumps are still a LONG way off as I've had to do a redesign so I wouldn't hold your breath! As for sound, I'm not sure what difference it would make and pricing wont be the same/near the price of these... They would be more like the $599+ mark.

Can I install these without removing major components, by getting under car? Can you get to the bolts on the headers?

DELAY in production

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news however there have been some problems in production of about 15 of the test pipes and they are being remade at the moment... I'm pissed about it but there is nothing I can do.

I've been told they will be finished by the end of this month, then they will be sent out after the 7th October as there is a 'National Day Holiday' or some crap and everything closes down....

End of October is the new ETA that I'm thinking... I'll let everyone know when I get another update.

Gonna assume made in China? Seeing as how they start their public "holiweek" for national day on the first. that's first, they get a whole week off and still manage to be productive.
