There's quite a bit of interest here, is Z1 able to offer any sort of deal at all?

They are available through Z1 but you wont be able to get a group buy price like I was offering.

I've spoken to Russell and I am going to be carrying the Z1 throttle bodies in the near future... Russell is getting some chromed up and nickle plated so there will be a few options available in the future.

Coz can't get these throttle bodies... He emailed me yesterday to ask where I was getting them from. If he is selling them he would have to buy them from Z1, which is what I'm having to do now.

    $410USD/pair for one offs.

$395USD/pair for group buy of five or more.

Tom said he can do $370USD/pair for group buy but still waiting on a firm price in $AUD including delivery.

Bigger TB's don't do much for turbos

Hey know i've missed all the discussions and all, but thought i'd throw my 2 cents in anyway.

Have a mate that worked for harrop in melb and now has his own engineering shop in QLD, surfers, as some of you who know me would know.

We discussed throttle bodies a few times and pretty much every time i visit him as he has invented (yes that means designed and made himself) 100mm TB's for holden's and ford's and looks like FPV will be trying to buy out the paitent... anyway for NA cars, TB's are where your going to make all your gains as when its not force feed, it sucks... SOOooo for all you turbo fans out there, note that TB size means almost nothing on a turbo car. The only diff you might get from 55mm to 58mm (even 60) is that your psi will drop 0.02% or something as there is now an extra 5mm of room for the air your force feeding in anyway... ie basically in a turbo car its turbos that gauge the performance of fuel and air and so long as there are no bottle necks etc and your TB's are big enough, bigger wont make better.

Sure there are people out there with numbers etc like John at UAS who did massive amounts of testing on the slot car with all different size TB's and sure they've all come to same conclusions etc... so just bare it in mind is all

    yeah you may be rite

but i look at it ,, like every bit helps , it is something you can get out of the way... and now we have the opportunity to do so....

    just my 2 cen
