Thanks once more Guys & Gals, Simmo is 100% correct when he says it doesn't matter how little(or how much) you are able to donate, just that you cared enough to actually donate something to assist someone who is trying to come to terms with a traumatic event(the total loss of his Z32). Believe me when I tell you that Andy is stunned by the generosity and good wishes he is receiving from so many unexpected areas. Today, Tezza and family organized a Sausage Sizzle/Tech Day, and donated the proceeds to the Andy Appeal. We now have another $453.71. Well done everyone. I won't say where the one cent came from (we know who you are, and, as long as you drop a bag full of unmarked notes in large denominations at the designated spot, we won't say a thing).
Have you read the supra threads. Those supra guys have got no heart. They are talking about this being a scam, that it is just a fund to get some guy bigger turbos, that its easy to rip off people for small amounts cause they wont chase it up, he deserves it all for cancelling insurance. What assholes, i've never had anything against supras any more than any other car, but there is 8 or 10 people on their that dont deserve to be a part of any car lover community. The guy just lost his lifes work.... Can someone put this in their forums for me?

Yes, We may be only toyota people, but it was bound to happen. Some people are just negative, and have pre-concieved notions, that if you don't drive the same type of car as them, then why should they help. There's only 2-3 people who are contributing negative posts, and only one person who broached the idea that it's a scam, like you said, they haven't read all the threads... But we've had more people donate from the thread, than the ones who have posted negative comments. I've asked the mods to clear out the BS from the thread.
I haven't read the Supra Forum posts, but there are at least 6 of their members who have made donations and have been publicly thanked by me(on Andy's behalf). Much of the talk at today's Tech Day in Sydney, was about holding a "Thank you Cruise" and inviting the Supra boys along to acknowledge their kind generosity.

No worries dude, personally, I would much rather donate to someone here in australia - someone from the car scene than some unknown in xxx country thats been affected by xxx diaster in which 40% of the money goes to the people "organising" it. I'm sure the guys would welcome a combined cruise, I think someone mentioned it over on SF already, but hey why not, we're both 2 door TT 6's If it was a scam, then it's a well thought out one, and not one that would live up to much scrutiny. So I wouldn't put a second thought into the member that said it's a scam. and besides, on a cruise us supra boys can all whoop your asses ;D

I wouldn't put much credence in the scam allegation, like i said, If they read the three threads then they'd have a different opinion, it is true, that no ones going to care about $10 here and there. But it's not a scam which we all know. - Now just don't make me look like a fool and go buying some f**k off turbos ;D
other then the few skeptic idiots, im really impressed by the generosity of the supra people, just goes to show there is a bunch of alright blokes there too.
