You still got room for your extractors with those big wings? Looks the goods though :D

Yeah, I will have room to spare for my exhaust.

More welding progress tonight. All I have to do is bolt the flange down and weld around the perimeter of the flange. Weld the tops on the wings.

Make sure you test it with kero or similar before you bolt it up and it leaks and you swear lots and throw things all over the workshop :p

I finished up the oil pan. I've been working on fabricating up 3 more sets of engine mounts and oil pans. As well as poly engine mounts. Going to the bodyshop this week! Can't wait!

Also, the oil pan can be used for RHD applications as well, just need to bend the sump opposite of the LHD

Made some more progress today, fabricated the lower radiator mounts, made some poly insulators and started on the hood pin layout. I'll be either painting these hood pins to match or I'll get some white ones.

Fabricated my coolant reservoir today. Still have to weld on the hose nipples yet. Finished up another oil pan and installed my hood struts, no more hood prop! :)

Next I need to smooth out the runner inlets and then start working on the upper section.

Oh, and here's a little sneak preview of my latest endeavor ...

Audi coil... 20-30$ a piece vs $140 each per OEM coil. It also eliminates the PTUs (Igniter chips)! Working with Wiring Specialties on coming up with a conversion harness, for this upgrade, as well as 300zx/VH45 engine swap harnesses!

Interesting, do they provide better spark than the OEM coils?

Never heard of anyone having trouble with VH coils, but new for $30ea is a bargain!

My buddy has a S4 Twin Turbo pushing a good amount of boost and he's had no issues with them. They are inexpensive and get rid of that damn PTU. Like Chrispy said, $30 is a deal!

Loaded up the Z to go to the body shop Monday
    [IMG]

Got some parts in yesterday, I had some 304 SS exhaust flanges laser cut by Aqua Cut Technologies. Great people to deal with!

Aren't exhaust gaskets readily available? Why are they so thick?
